What a powerful and touching first episode. It looks at the impact on Marnie's health on each of the family members in turn. This is a powerful hour of drama, it asks one huge question, can you let go of someone you love, what a situation to be placed in.
It's bit light hearted, casual viewing, this will prove upsetting for many, but if you can watch it, please do, it's truly powerful viewing.
I still foolishly associate Sharon Horgan with comedy, but once again she proves what a terrific actress she is, Nicci is one protective mum.
I don't know why, but whenever I watch Michael Sheen, I feel as though I'm watching someone who will at some point be called one of the greats, I have absolutely no doubt at all, the guy is tremendous, what a presence.
