Robert Downey Jr.’s death scene in Avengers: Endgame will perhaps be the most poignant moment in all of the MCU movies. While fans did not see it coming in the Infinity Saga finale, Downey Jr. knew about Iron Man’s fate from around the time of filming Captain America: Civil War. Marvel boss Kevin Feige pitched the idea to the Oppenheimer actor after getting inspired by another Marvel film. Feige was impressed by how Hugh Jackman’s character arc ended in Logan.
Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man death scene in Avengers: Endgame
Logan gave a fitting conclusion to Jackman’s Wolverine. At the end of the film, he sacrifices his life for his biological daughter, Laura, and other young mutants. The film became the best-reviewed film in the X-Men franchise.

If anyone can slay a cover song, it’s Kelly Clarkson.
The American Idol Season 1 winner continues to wow her fans with her vocal talent, and her latest cover has them begging for a duet.
Kelly treats fans of The Kelly Clarkson Show to “Kellyoke” at the beginning of each episode; her latest one didn’t disappoint.
Kelly and her band opened their Tuesday morning show with a stripped-down, piano-backed cover of Katy Perry’s song, Wide Awake, off her hit Teenage Dream album, blowing the audience away.
Kelly and her band’s pianist took the stage for the slowed-down version of Wide Awake, and it had her audience’s jaws dropping to the floor as Kelly showcased her vocal talent.

Kelly Clarkson has filed a new cross-complaint against her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock that seeks to affirm — and possibly expand — the $2.6 million award she was granted last year by the California Labor Commission under a November ruling that found Blackstock charged her for business deals he wasn’t licensed to seek.
The new filing came after Blackstock appealed the November ruling on Dec. 1, 2023, saying in a petition that he and his family-run management firm, Starstruck Entertainment, were entitled to a separate, full-blown trial on the dispute in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Kelly Clarkson‘s former husband, Brandon Blackstock, has been ordered to pay over $2.6 million to the acclaimed singer due to his involvement in several mishandled business transactions.
As Clarkson’s manager, Blackstock engaged in contractual agreements on her behalf, a responsibility that should have been undertaken by her agent.
A California labor commissioner ruled that Blackstock is obligated to pay Clarkson a sum of $2,641,374 for the fees he received from these deals, which encompassed contracts related to The Voice and the Billboard Music Awards.
The ruling states, “Under the Talent Agencies Act (Taa), a manager, like any person without a talent agency license, cannot procure or attempt to procure employment for artists.”
Clarkson and Blackstock began to date in 2013 and tied the knot in the same year. Their marriage ended when Clarkson, winner of American Idol season one, filed for divorce from Blackstock in 2020. The divorce was finalized two years later.

Kelly Clarkson’s Ex-Husband Ordered to Pay Her $2.6 Million for ‘Unlawfully Procured’ Business Deals
Kelly Clarkson’s ex, Brandon Blackstock, owes her $2,641,374 for allegedly making business deals on her behalf against the law, according to a California labor commissioner.
People reports that Golden State law requires that managers cannot act as agents, so the commissions he was paid for securing the singer’s contracts with The Voice, Norwegian Cruise Lines (Ncl), those omnipresent Wayfair commercials, and the Billboard Music Awards must be paid back to Clarkson.

While Rose is now 9 years old, her vocals on this song were put down when she was 5, according to Clarkson. She talked about the song in an interview with “Today” on Friday, sharing that her daughter is excited about its release.

While Rose is now 9 years old, her vocals on this song were put down when she was 5, according to Clarkson. She talked about the song in an interview with “Today” on Friday, sharing that her daughter is excited about its release.
“I was actually still married,” Clarkson said, reflecting on the song’s recording. “We were in the studio, when we were living in Encino, and she came in — she’s 9 now, but she was 5 years old on this track. That’s how old this song is, I recorded it that long ago. And we just loved it, and it fit in with the record.”

Kelly Clarkson enlisted her daughter River Rose for a special familial collaboration, “You Don’t Make Me Cry,” from the new deluxe edition of Clarkson’s latest album, Chemistry, out today, Sept. 22.
River opens the track with a heavily auto-tuned vocal run, giving the song an early-2010s pop vibe that continues with snappy, atmospheric production laced with piano. Like many of the songs on Chemistry, “You Don’t Make Me Cry” finds Clarkson holding nothing back, as she sings on the chorus, “And you don’t make me cry...

Steve Martin delighted fans of Hulu series Only Murders in the Building with an immaculate delivery of “Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It?” — a patter song written specifically for the show.
After struggling to conquer the tongue twister for Oliver Putnam’s (played by Martin Short) Broadway show, Death Rattle Dazzle, Martin’s Charles-Haden Savage finally performs the song in all its tempo-dipping, word-spinning glory.
Episode eight left fans scrambling to find the lyrics, and on Wednesday, Hulu released the clip for those wanting to relive Savage’s onstage victory.

Kelly Clarkson’s latest album Chemistry dives deep into relationships — how they begin, how they end, and all of the good and bad moments in between. The record is the centerpiece of her Las Vegas Residency, Chemistry: An Intimate Evening with Kelly Clarkson, which began on July 28. During the singer’s most recent performance at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood, she celebrated a more unconditional kind of love as her two children joined her onstage for a special performance.

Crying at Kelly Clarkson's Las Vegas residency was something I fully expected to happen. But what I didn't anticipate was the cathartic journey I would embark on. On Aug. 2, the three-time Grammy winner performed her third show of "Chemistry… An Intimate Night With Kelly Clarkson" at Planet Hollywood's Bakkt Theater. And similarly to her latest album, which her residency is named after, Clarkson took the audience through an array of emotions as she reflected on the highs and low of love while immersing the crowd in music that spanned her two-decades-long career.
Clarkson kicked off the night with one of her newer songs, "Favorite Kind of High," before diving into a medley of some of her greatest hits, including "Behind These Hazel Eyes," "My Life Would Suck Without You," "I Do Not Hook Up," "Catch My Breath," and "Because of You."
"There's something so special and cool about music.

Before Riverdale signs off one last time, the series is poised to throw more Wtf moments than ever before.
The CW has dropped plot details for Riverdale Season 7 Episode 20 -- the teen drama's finale.
You'll think your Pop's Chock'lit milkshake has been laced with jingle-jangle after reading because the final chapter sounds wild.
"Back in present day and longing for her former life in Riverdale, 86-year-old Betty (Lili Reinhart) turns to a special friend to help her relive her last day of senior year with her friends as they were, their memories restored," is the short, sweet, and mind-numbing description.
Does it get any more series finale-like than this, Riverdale Fanatics?
If you watch Riverdale online, you know the series took us all the way back to the 1950s after a deadly comet headed straight for the sleepy-but-deadly titular town at the close of Riverdale Season 6.

Kelly Clarkson kicked off her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino’s Bakkt Theater over the weekend with a funny warning to her fans.
Addressing the crowd, the 41-year-old declared, “Whatever you do, don’t throw it at me, people. If you’re gonna throw s**t, throw diamonds.”
Clarkson is seemingly referencing the recent slew of audience member attacks on performers during their concerts. Bebe Rexha suffered a black eye after a fan chucked a cell phone at her face. Pink was shocked when one concertgoer threw a bag of their mother’s ashes at her. And Cardi B angrily threw her microphone at a fan who threw a massive cup of water in her face.
Unwanted on-stage gifts aside, Clarkson had fun with the crowd, performing songs off her new breakup album, Chemistry, as well as some noteworthy covers.

Kelly Clarkson’s recent single “Mine,” which appears on her latest album Chemistry, is a trojan horse of well-wishes that actually plots on the eventual karmic revenge of a past relationship. During a recent live performance of “Mine” recorded at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles, Clarkson stripped back the airy production of the original recording for an emotionally raw rendition.

Yes, he’s still number-one on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Morgan Wallen‘s “One Thing at a Time” spent its 15th nonconsecutive week in the top spot, which is all but two of the weeks since the album was released back on March 3. In fact, the 36-track collection actually gained slightly in equivalent album units, achieving 110,500 based on its combined record sales, individual track sales, and online streams. In the midst of Kelly Clarkson’s divorce, she had a revelation. Contrary to the meaning of her 2015 ballad “Piece by Piece,” which praised her talent-manager ex-husband Brandon Blackstock for restoring her faith in men after her father deserted her as a child, the pop singer realized that no one could truly heal her but herself. “It’s almost too much to put on someone to do that for you, you have to do that yourself,” the pop singer admitted on her talk show in 2020. Said revelation appears on Clarkson’s wistful new song,...

Who wouldn’t want to sing Kelly-oke to a brand new Kelly Clarkson album? But just be prepared to go to a few darker places, as some of the deeply confessional songs on “Chemistry” come up, many of them prompted by her 2020 divorce from Brandon Blackstock and the events that led up to it. Even if she insists that she put some of the most baldly personal songs she wrote away in a drawer, what’s left is still altogether autobiographical, having been written during some of her darkest days roughly three years ago.
Not that it’s entirely daunting stuff; Clarkson made sure to include some songs harking further back in her relationship, before the chemistry went sour, to cover the heat generated in the early stages of a relationship, too. She joined Variety via Zoom to discuss the full arc of what “Chemistry” covers.

Ahead of the release of her new album "Chemistry" on June 23, Kelly Clarkson is opening up about her 2020 split from husband Brandon Blackstock. Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock that summer, and their divorce was ultimately finalized in 2022. In a new interview, Clarkson admits that she doesn't think she handled the split all that well.
"I don't know how people get through anything like that because I'm not going to say I did it gracefully. Behind closed doors by myself, it was not," Clarkson said on the June 21 episode of "The Zane Lowe Show." "Just to be brutally honest, I did not handle it well. I had many sessions with just my friends [where] I couldn't even speak. I was crying so hard, even before separating."
She continued, "There were just a lot of now unhealthy habits you recognize or habits that you recognize that you didn't see before. Hindsight is a lot easier.

On the plane after dropping her children off to her ex, the lyrics would pour out of Kelly Clarkson.
“To be just frank,” the star says, “there would be times I’d fly my kids to my ex and then I’d have to fly back and then wake back up hours later for work again. The future of Yellowstone was thrown into doubt earlier this year amid reports that Kevin Costner no longer wanted to film the Paramount Network juggernaut.
The final six episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 were set to return to the cabler this summer, but with cameras not getting rolling, the return was later delayed.
Yellowstone was also canceled after five seasons, but fear not:
A Matthew McConaughey-led spinoff is in the works.
Understandably, fans have many questions about how the series will wrap up with just six episodes remaining.
Those episodes have been pushed to November, and Taylor Sheridan isn't ruling out additional episodes tacked on to the end of Yellowstone Season 5 to give the series the closure he believes is necessary.
"If I think it takes 10 episodes to wrap it up, they'll give me 10," Sheridan explained to The Hollywood Reporter this week.
"It'll be as long as it needs to be.

Kelly Clarkson’s skillful covers of Billie Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” and Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees,” from last year’s Kellyoke EP, hinted at what it might sound like if the singer were to reprise the more rock-oriented sound of her under-appreciated 2007 album My December. Indeed, “Skip This Part,” the opening track from her 10th studio album, Chemistry, takes a page straight from Eilish’s song, with understated verses followed by a doo-wop-inflected hook and a climactic, guitar-driven coda in which Clarkson exorcises her angst: “I feel every break as I realize my fate/I succumb to the taste of betrayal/I try numbing the pain with my sweet mary jane/But I know this escape isn’t stable.”
For the most part, though, Chemistry relies on a familiar mixture of elements from Clarkson’s two previous albums, the pop-centric Piece by Piece and the classic soul-inspired Meaning of Life.
