Amy finally puts the pieces together, and learns exactly what's going on, but she has a big, challenging decision to make, Kirsten also uncovers a massive lead, but her discovery lands her in mortal danger.
I have made no secret about it, but I have really struggled with this second series, after an excellent first episode, I thought it went downhill, and when the action moved to Wudjan, I thought the wheels well and truly came off, of course it was always going to be somewhat far fetched, but we were given some ludicrous events.
Credit where it's due, I enjoyed this final episode, sadly it is too little too late, but this was on par with the series opener, exciting, dramatic and quite interesting.
Some action sequences, but nothing quite so elaborate as what came in the last few, fortunately Amy Jessica Fletcher Bond wasn't needed to Kung Fu anyone.
I have a feeling this will be the end for Vigil, but if it is to come back, it needs to look at what made it a success initially, the confines of the ship, thr claustrophobia, that is what's been badly lacking here.
8/10.
