Comedian Jason Byrne has spoken to Digital Spy about going on stage at the Royal Variety Performance in just his pants in a Miley Cyrus 'Wrecking Ball' spoof.
The Irish funnyman chose to begin his routine for Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall by swinging in on a buoy after being dared by an audience member at a recent gig.
"I didn't realise how protruding I was in rehearsals and the dresser said afterwards, 'I think you might have to wear a bigger pair of pants...the top of your little boy was creeping out the edge'," Byrne revealed.
"The audience are very old. They won't know who Jessie J... Miley J... sorry, Miley Cyrus, is."
He continued: "It's good that it's Charles and Camilla, they're a bit more loose than the Queen."
Byrne added that he stopped short of appearing before the crowd at the London Palladium wearing an "I love Sinead" T-shirt,...

Jimmy Carr has admitted that he tones down his act when performing at the Royal Variety Performance.
The charitable event - which will air tonight on ITV - was attended by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cambridge this year, but Carr confirmed he would never use his most controversial material at the show.
"Obviously you have to tone it down," he told Digital Spy backstage. "I'm filthy. Have you seen my shows? It's disgusting. I'm ashamed."
Carr added: "It's a weird thing where everyone is in black tie this evening and suited and booted and dressed up to the nines and you're performing for a slightly older crowd.
"The people that come to see my shows... it's a good age spread, but it tends to be lots of young people that come and see my shows.
"But here it's slightly older and more mature and, 'Ooh, yes, hmm, that's a little bit rude'.
