It's funny in the scariest possible way. The writing shapes a far out concept into a very real possibility, given the perverse inclinations of corporate owned American government. Can government, through extortion and force use the assets of Americans to pay off government debt? Bill Shick's writing says it can, but he presents his frightening hypothesis with humor. His characterization of the crazed government worker with the mad, yet brilliant plan to retire the national debt by commandeering personal assets from every middle-class American makes his diabolical plan seem reasonable. After all, the concept of forcing Americans to pay the national debt does exist today to a less ridiculous degree. Bill's notion that it's possible for the government to force Americans to pay as much as is needed to save their country from default or else face being called unpatriotic may sound funny, but it's not pure fantasy. What Bill suggests is not only plausible it's possible if you can picture a bankrupt government in a panic to pay its debts or fail as a nation. Thanks Mr. Shick, for tickling my scary bone.
