What a massive improvement over the 2 previous episodes! Not only do we get an Auggie episode that fills in his backstory, plus it gives him time in the field, but it was well written and focused. I liked Annie coordinating with the FBI agent plus going to Joan again for help. Side note: it's so good to get a show where the main character has a positive relationship with their boss instead of either having to sneak around behind their back or else have constant antagonism.
Maybe I found it a little hard to believe Rebecca Mader's character would just do everything Auggie asked without asking at least once who he was or who they were after. Or that Auggie would remember the terrorist's voice so well since it came from a time before he was blinded. But those are minor quibbles. At least there weren't constant breaks in the action so Danielle could take her kids to a birthday party or something. Nor was there endless awkward exposition like the previous episode. This was a nice reminder of what makes this show enjoyable.
