I'm afraid that this little "neon animation" (It actually looks more like some random sequences with a Photoshop filter on them than actual animation) done by Jack Feldstein isn't able to make any justice to the beautiful prose poem written by H.P. Lovecraft, being very flat and amateurish.
I didn't like very much the narration that this short had. The voice of the narrator sounded unmotivated and almost completely devoid of emotion. Also, in my opinion the "neon" animation style didn't capture very well the dream-like quality of the original text, resulting in something very forgettable and uninteresting.
This was just disappointing.
