When Superman is nearly killed and his heart stops, Natalie Irons restarts it by using her suit as a makeshift defibrillator. That is not how a defibrillator works. A defibrillator stops an arrhythmic heart in the hopes that it will start beating again on its own with a normal rhythm. A shock to someone's chest when their heart is not beating would do nothing to get it going again. Chest compressions would be more appropriate to try to restart the heart.
During one of the HUD shots of John Irons in his suit, rather than the actor turning his head, the image is shifted slightly, revealing it to be a flat image skewed via special effects.
In the previous episode, Natalie suggested that when she finished her battle suit, Jonathan could wear it to protect himself from any further attempts at forced merging. Yet when the finished suit is seen, it is very clearly tailored for Natalie's body type, not Jonathan's.
Sarah is known to be a big music fan and often wears vintage rock t-shirts yet is ignorant as to who Alanis Morrisette is. Morrisette's "Jagged Little Pill" album sold 33 million copies, won a Grammy for album of the year, and was turned into a musical in 2017. She had several more multi-platinum albums as well. While this is an attempt to show a generational disconnect between Lana and Sarah, Sarah's unfamiliarity with Morissette defies belief.
Jordan does not understand Clark's mention of the "Kessel Run," a reference to several Star Wars films. Star Wars remains one of the most popular and profitable movies of all time, and the Kessel Run was revisited in the 2018 Solo film. While this is meant to show a generational disconnect between Jordan and Clark, it defies belief that Jordan would not know Star Wars, especially if his father is a fan.
The DOD technicians work to try to diagnose and restore Superman's health after his life force is drained by Ally, yet do so in an underground or enclosed room. As Superman draws his power from the sun's radiation, exposing him to sunlight would be a more logical step than hooking him up to a series of machines and drawing his blood.
Lana says that there must be a place Sarah can perform that she can legally enter. Minors are allowed to enter a bar with parental supervision, and are even legally allowed to consume alcoholic beverages that are 3.2 percent alcohol by volume or lower.
Sam Lane claims that the pendant is gone and that he saw it destroyed with his own eyes. He did not actually witness the destruction of the pendant, he merely monitored its progress via energy readings on a screen.
