Kevin Smith is going public once again about his rumored fall-out with actor and former Bff Ben Affleck.
A fan on Twitter asked the Chasing Amy director, 48, about the relationship, writing, “Sometimes I wonder what really happened between Ben Affleck and Kevin Smith that made them not talk to each other,” tagging both stars’ accounts.
Smith responded, “If I had to guess? It’s because one of us has a big mouth and told too many candid stories that sometimes weren’t his to tell, and the other one is Ben.”

Kevin Smith almost died in jorts.
That’s not exactly a shocking revelation from his new Showtime stand-up special, especially for long-time fans who would be shocked to see him wear denim that reached the ankle. But considering the backstory surrounding his performance, it’s hard not to acknowledge how “Kevin Smith: Silent But Deadly” functions as both a warm reminder of Smith’s gifts as a storyteller and a chilling reminder that one of life’s cruelest tricks is how it can end so quickly.
And that means watching Smith on stage, chatting with confidence about his career, his love of weed, and his combative yet loving relationship with his wife, knowing that minutes after dropping the mike he would have a near-fatal heart attack at the age of 47.
The special is bookended by segments featuring a now-seemingly healthy Smith, hanging out in the dressing room where the heart attack occurred,...

Kevin Smith has found a new T-shirt slogan. Two months after unexpectedly suffering a "massive" widowmaker heart attack at age 47, the comedian has divulged new details about that fateful night—including how he managed to come out of it alive. As he's previously explained, Smith was shooting a standup show for an upcoming Netflix special, Silent But Deadly, when he suddenly didn't feel well and didn't quite know why. While he insisted he was fine, paramedics brought him to a nearby hospital where he learned he was in the midst of a serious attack. While Smith thought maybe the weed he smoked before the show had spurred the attack, that turned out to be not the case at...

Three teaser trailers have been released for the Showtime comedy stand-up special Kevin Smith: Silent But Deadly. This was the comedy special that Kevin Smith was shooting on the night of his near-fatal heart attack. It was moments after this special ended that he was rushed to the hospital.
As I watch these videos, Kevin Smith is on fire and he certainly doesn't look like he's going to walk off stage and have a heart attack. In one video we listen to Smith joke about a time he ordered 70 burgers, 40 fries, 20 onion rings, and 1 small diet root beer. In another, he jokes about how his wife doesn't think she's in the "Kevin Smith demographic."
I've been of Smith since I first saw Clerks and it's always fun to see him get up in front of a crowd and joke around.
Kevin Smith: Silent But Deadly premieres May 11, 2018 on Showtime at 9 p.

‘Twas a few nights before Christmas, and at Jfc, Brian and Cargill were all but cackling with glee. Having eschewed Black Christmas, a far better flick, they decided to chat about a killer St. Nick. They chose to weigh in, and happily summarize, the baffling Silent Night, Deadly Night film franchise. An open-world adventure set in the Lord Of The Rings universe? Aaron explores Middle-earth: Shadows Of Mordor...
The Lord Of The Rings series has had it better than most when it comes to videogame adaptations. J.R.R. Tolkein's beloved fantasy epic is not only a great story, and a stalwart of the genre, but it's also perfect material for gaming. A large fantasy world, rich lore, great characters, and a classic villain make the ultimate ingredients for just about any gaming genre. And, we've had plenty of examples thus far, including fighting games, RPGs and, the Mmo, and now the series is moving into open-world, third-person territory with Middle-earth: Shadow Of Mordor.

More than a century later, the old structure is renovated into a beautiful mansion. It is still rumored to inhabit the ghost of Alice. Despite this, the new owner; the rich and arrogant heir to the Davenport fortune, decides to throw a wild party for his first night in the house.

Senior citizens dying is usually no laughing matter, but that quickly changes when they’re amusingly being targeted by a crazed serial killer roaming the halls of their retirement home and pulling witty tricks on their victims. That’s certainly the case in the new horror comedy, ‘Silent But Deadly,’ the feature film directorial and writing debuts of actor Jason Lockhart. The filmmaker created a comical and witty movie that showcases the fight the residents of a plagued retirement home, led by actress Dawn Wells’ character, Rose, put up as they struggle to protect themselves and save their home. ‘Silent But Deadly’ follows a group of senior citizens who are being targeted [ Read More ]

I think we can all agree that there haven't been enough nursing home-based horror-comedies lately. The sub-genre is basically barren aside from Bubba Ho-Tep; however, the upcoming Silent But Deadly is ready to drop some more horrific retirement palace humor on you.
Originally titled Hotel Arthritis (which is a pretty hilarious handle in its own right), Silent But Deadly has grabbed this new name, redesigned its movie poster (see below), and even shot a new trailer (see below as well…probably should have told you it was down there when we told you about the poster…sorry).
The cast of this film is absolutely wonderful, including Dawn Wells (MaryAnn from "Gilligan's Island"), John Tartaglia (Broadway's Avenue Q), Lee Meriwether (Catwoman from the 60's "Batman" series), David Proval (Richie Aprile on "The Sopranos"…how's your chest, Richie?), Martin Kove (played the sensei of the Cobra Kai in the original Karate Kid)…are you kidding me?...
