Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is the latest PlayStation first-party title to grace the PC platform and players are enamored with what Sucker Punch Productions was able to do on the PS4. Trophy hunters are thrilled that the game has one feature that even God of War does not.
Trophy hunting can be quite time-consuming and Sony decided to have the trophy list of this game be shared with the PlayStation 5 version. Players who own both versions of the game won’t have to retrace their steps and double dip to unlock a trophy which is quite convenient.

There was essentially a large distinction in the God of War soft reboot when put in contrast to its original video game series. This included the introduction of Kratos’ kid, Atreus, and the Norse Mythology theme, which was a surprise to many but a welcome one.
Kratos and Loki | A still from God of War gameplay
With such drastic changes, one can guess how much of a challenge it would have posed while producing the game. It was also revealed via the creative lead of the game himself how members of the crew were conflicted with many of the ideas they were implementing, including the addition of Atreus.

Elden Ring‘s vast and treacherous world offers numerous challenges for players to overcome in return for glorious rewards. Among these is the bizarre Great Jar, a colossal stationary jar guarding a ruined castle in the poison-laced Caelid region.
This jar offers up a challenge where the player has to defeat three knights consecutively without leaving the area of backing out to a Site of Grace. It’s quite tough, but one player has figured out an ingenious loophole to “cheese” the challenge effortlessly.

Reaching the Great Jar is no easy feat. While initially visible from a distance, attempting to jump down from the cliffside above leads to a swift demise. The key lies in the Siofra River Well, located in Mistwood near the Minor Erdtree.

Greek mythology is perhaps one of the most overused settings in popular culture. It has been used everywhere from the God of War video games to movies and TV shows like Percy Jackson and the Olympians. So it's all the more amazing to see an original animated series from Netflix that manages to tell a story that's both familiar and entirely new, spiced with a fair amount of horror and gore.
Fans of high-quality animation, Greek mythology and spectacular action should not miss Blood of Zeus from the creators of Castlevania.
What is Blood of Zeus About?
The young man Heron and his mother Electra live in an unnamed Greek polis. The inhabitants of the town do not like the couple: they blame them for any misfortune and sometimes try to throw stones at them.

This article contains spoilers for Blood of Zeus season 2.
Netflix has increasingly become the top place to turn for hard-hitting adult animation and Blood of Zeus immediately made waves upon its 2020 release. The Powerhouse Animation production remixes Greek mythology into an engrossing dark fantasy that feels like God of War meets Game of Thrones. Heron, the demigod son of Zeus, embarks on a bold and bloody journey for identity, autonomy, and authority that concludes the first season on an apocalyptic note where supernatural Giants storm Olympus and challenge its Gods. Blood of Zeus season 2 reaches such extreme heights that its freshman year almost seems quaint in comparison.
Zeus’ tragic death precipitates a terrifying power vacuum that throws Olympus into unprecedented chaos and lights a fire under Hades to steal his brother’s throne and claim what he believes to be his birthright. The growing war between Hades and Zeus, and Heron and Seraphim,...

Marvel Studios reportedly prepares for the much-awaited X-Men reboot after Disney acquired its rights from 20 Century Fox in 2019. Though details about this highly-anticipated project remain under wraps, the studio is allegedly eyeing Ryan Coogler to direct the film.
Coogler has been known for creating critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies, like the 2018 Black Panther.
The film didn’t just break numerous box office records, becoming the highest-grossing film of all time by an African American director.
But it also brought the franchise three Oscar wins and several nominations, including Best Picture, a first for a superhero movie.

The gaming community just resurfaced from the Helldivers 2 chaos over the past week, only for Sony to potentially land itself in trouble again. After officially taking back its Psn linking mandate from the game made by Arrowhead Studios, it seems that the company is now pushing for the same requirement on another title. However, it might not be that bad this time around.
Publishers of Helldivers 2 have now decided to go after another game for the same Psn mandate
Made by Sucker Punch Productions, Ghost of Tsushima is another one of first-party PlayStation games, and is now under the spotlight once again as Sony is set to bring an unexpected change to the game before it finally gets released to players on PC soon.

Between the hyper-violent car combat of Twisted Metal and Fallout’s familiar-looking Mysterious Stranger, it’s pretty clear that George Miller’s Mad Max franchise has been incredibly influential in the world of gaming. That’s why you might find it surprising that video games directly based on the adventures of Max Rockatansky have been notoriously difficult to get off the ground.
From Mindscape’s Outlander – which was supposed to have been an official Mad Max adaptation until the studio lost the license when the title was nearly complete – to the ill-fated Melbourne House project which would have been the first Australian-made game based on the franchise, telling an interactive Road Warrior yarn has never been easy.

The wait is almost over for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, the highly anticipated sequel to Ninja Theory’s critically-acclaimed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Set to arrive in less than 3 weeks, it promises a mind-bending experience that combines history with protagonist Senua’s psychosis.
The first Hellblade gripped players with its portrayal of Senua, a Celtic warrior afflicted with psychosis. The game’s narrative and world-building drew inspiration from Celtic and Norse mythology, set against the backdrop of the late 8th century. However, oftentimes, some of the richest people in the world, do the least amount of philanthropic work.

The Last of Us is one of the most successful franchises PlayStation has ever released. Its fans are numerous, and now, thanks to the HBO television series that launched back in 2023, its popularity has grown tenfold. Gamers all over are talking about this franchise in detail. The hype is such that gaming fans are waiting for the next game in the series, while TV show fans are eagerly awaiting the next season of the series.
It comes as no surprise that these games have met incredible success sales-wise too. Their fan base is such that they even made The Last of Us: Part 1, which was basically the original game made with a graphical overhaul, a success. Even though that game was launched for a full price of $70, despite not offering anything new. Still, some fans call The Last of Us: Part 2 a financial disappointment for Sony.

God of War is one of the oldest and most successful PlayStation first-party franchises. Gamers everywhere are pretty much aware of how legendary this franchise is, even if they haven’t played one of these games. This franchise spans eight mainline installments that were released on major consoles and one very small game that was launched on mobile devices.
Besides releasing on various console generations, these games have gone through a number of directors. The franchise started with its creator, David Jaffe, then was taken over by Stig Asmussen, who worked on Gow 3. Finally, the franchise went to Cory Barlog, who gave it a soft reboot with God of War 2018. But David Jaffe is not very happy with the latest game, God of War: Ragnarok.

Live service games received a breath of life in the form of Helldivers 2 from Arrowhead games. The genre has had ups and downs over the years, with many studios taking a crack and trying to get a game off the ground, to varying degrees of success. In an interview with the daily telegraph, FromSoftware President Hidetaka Miyazaki talked about the possibility of entering the live service market, letting on that he would be keen to give it a go some day.

The first God Of War game which came out in 2005, was unique from other action-adventure games of its time. It was the brainchild of David Jaffe, who focused on making the game stand out with its combat, story, and visuals. Since then, the game that came on the PS2 has been a fan favorite.

While the game saw eight other installments being made, David Jaffe is only credited for making the first two games. Jaffe stepped down from the franchise and parted ways with Sony to move on and work on other projects. Even though he left the franchise, he has always been interested in the games.

Since its release 35 years ago today, River City Ransom has enjoyed a remarkable cultural turnaround. Today, it is typically described as one of the best Nes games ever and a turning point in the evolution of the beat-em-up genre.
For much of its existence, though, River City Ransom was often simply considered a cult classic. It was always a strange little game that not everyone immediately gelled with. Many critics and fans throughout the years have expressed mixed feelings towards the title. Others have been far more negative. Then again, the more mixed receptions to the game over the years really shouldn’t be too surprising.
At the time of its release (and for some time afterward) there was nothing quite like River City Ransom. At a glance, it looked just like Double-Dragon: the beat-em-up title that most obviously influenced River City Ransom’s development. Once you started playing the game,...

Artificial intelligence keeps messing around with every aspect of daily life, and it looks like PlayStation may be affected as well. While gaming is not a foreign concept to this technology, some companies are incorporating AI into features that lack logic.
Sony has just patented a new mechanic that will allow the player to activate “Auto-Play,” a particular option that will let the game play itself in certain segments of the title. Powered by AI, this could really bring PlayStation to a new level of self-destruction that no other company has accomplished. Fans of this console could head to the Xbox side.

It’s hard to say if the fans have gotten over The Great Web trauma or not but they are still likely to be disappointed in Sony. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 publisher kept the cards close to their chest and canned the project which then saw outrage rise among the fans after its trailer was leaked on the internet. What could’ve been a multiversal game now appears lost to corporate affairs.

Helldivers 2 has proven to be a massive success for Sony Interactive Entertainment and their PS5 console. Released in 2024, the title is a cooperative third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Games and published by Sony. It’s the direct sequel to Helldivers, a 2015 top-down shooter.
The game received tons of positive reviews from critics, praising its cooperative gameplay and sense of humor. The game also offers a variety of weapons and vehicles and builds several improvements on its predecessor.
Of course, it is not just a massive hit but a fun game to boot. The question inevitably emerged: “Will it come to Xbox?”. Such a question is still not within the realm of prediction, but recent rumors suggest the possibility may be on the horizon.

God of War Ragnarok was a massive tentpole title for PlayStation, having sold over 15 million units since launch. The Aaa game was lauded for its stellar production quality, nearing on Hollywood territory.
However, game director Eric Williams holds very different thoughts on whether games should be more like movies, and in an era of increasing Star Wars and Marvel presence in the games industry, it’s an opinion worth considering.

God of War is definitely an iconic franchise; there’s never been a doubt about it. From the very first game on PlayStation 2 back in 2005 to God of War: Ragnarok, these games have been pretty excellent. In fact, no matter how they change over time, the developers have made sure these games remain as fun to play as the fans want them to be.
There’s no doubt about the fact that these games have indeed changed; from a distant third-person camera to over-the-shoulder, developers have brought about a major shift. But no matter how games change, fans like to be reminded of the old times in a good way. That’s what God of War: Ragnarok did.

WB Games makes two very criticized DC Comics games after selling millions of copies of Hogwarts Legacy. Fans have been infuriated by the representation of these characters in games like Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
This Rocksteady title did not even make it to the reviewers because the studio was aware that the score would add even more bad press to the already hated title. After a very poor launch the new Rocksteady title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, confirmed that it will keep releasing content. The first season is already live, with The Joker as a new playable character. The new season introduces additional elements to the game, such as the ability to explore Elseworlds, which are parallel universes within DC Comics.
According to some rumors and insiders, in season four of the game, Batman will be a playable character who comes from a medieval Elseworld. And Kevin Conroy apparently recorded dialog for the storyline before passing away in 2022.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will bring back Batman in future seasons The Dark Knight will be returning to the Rocksteady title.
