Excellent series about how different cities handle their trash. Unfortunately two of the ones I've seen aren't even listed on here, but they are on the NatGeo site.
Of the ones that I've seen, the Cairo and Mumbai episodes are interesting in how much recycling is done there, and the history of how the waste handling in those old cities developed. Mumbai in particular seemed to strip every item of value out of their waste, to the point that people are panning for gold in the gutters of the gold souk. If you have an interest in the environment, and how things are being handled by the metropolis of the world, then this is a show for you.
