Chennai, Dec 30: National award-winning Tamil director A. Sarkunam, known for films such as "Kalavani" and "Vaagai Sooda Vaa", is set to don the producer's hat with the romantic-comedy "Manja Pai".
"I will produce 'Manja Pai' under my home production 'A Sarkunam Cinemaz'. It will feature Vimal, Rajkiran, Sundara Pandian and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles," Sarkunam told Ians.
"N. Ragavan, my assistant, will direct the film," he added.
M. Ghibran has been roped in to compose the music and Masani as cinematographer. Deva takes the job of the editor.
Though "Manja Pai" is yet to go on floors, it has already been bought by director.
"I will produce 'Manja Pai' under my home production 'A Sarkunam Cinemaz'. It will feature Vimal, Rajkiran, Sundara Pandian and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles," Sarkunam told Ians.

Jahnu Barua’s Baandhon will open the Feature Film section of Indian Panorama 2012 at the International Film Festival of India. Celluloid Man will open the Non-Feature Film section.
The 43rd edition of the festival will be held from 20th – 30th November, 2012 in Goa.
The jury for the Feature Film section was headed by Buddhadeb Dasgupta and comprised Pradip Biswas, Suresh Krissna Katte Ramachandra, Kireedam Unni, Munin Barua, Pawan Manavi, Ajay Sharma, Venita Coelho and Sibi Malayil. The jury selected 18 films from the 144 eligible entries.
The jury for the Non-Feature Film section is chaired by M.R. Rajan picked up 18 films from the 147 eligible entries. Other jury members are Bachaspatimayum Sunzu, Mohammad Ali Baig, Jasmine K Roy and Rajesh S Jala.

In total, the actor now has five Tamil projects in his kitty.
"Vimal has signed 'Bengaluru Thamizhan'. It will be directed by Seenu Ramaswamy. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced shortly. Meanwhile, the shooting for the film will start after the director's upcoming Tamil film 'Neerparvai'," a source told Ians.

The young actress, who acted Malayalam movies as a child artiste, is scaling new heights after the success of the film. She bagged 'Mouna Guru', in which she stars as a medical student opposite Arulnidhi, grandson of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi.
Iniya has dubbed for the film herself and it will hit the screens soon.
She also has lead role in director Bharatiraja's film 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum'.
