I was lucky enough to see this movie at the Detroit premiere from the VIP section and was surprised by the informative nature of the film. It had a unique writing style and layout. It was a sort of mix of a documentary and a short clip sequence, and it was a nice change. I enjoyed learning about the history of Detroit; having grown up in Michigan, this was all new information to me. There was humor in the movie that many people enjoyed, and I liked the family dynamic of the film. Some of the cast members were family, and they had a chance to portray older generations of their family. It was a lovely tribute to their family. I am interested in seeing part II when it releases.
