Easily the best universe on TV: Great finale

Warning: Spoilers
First of all I hope they don't stop making shows and seasons within the Power Universe. The writing, the acting, and the production is always on point. Honestly I fear for STARZ and the PU because not enough of their shows last very long and or get a lot of reviews after each episode. It's a shame because they've put out some of the best TV in the last 10 years.

As far as the finale goes it was as good as if not better than most PU finales. I do hope we didn't lose Marvin and I doubt we did. Good to see Unique show up at the end. When the shot went off I had a feeling it was him after losing Worrel(spelling?). Kanan showing up with his father at the end was a nice touch. Tony Danza makes a great boss!!! Who knew?!?!?! Prize bull of the studio is gone so that puts that storyline to bed. It'll be interesting to see who the new connect turns out to be and I imagine it'll be two wars at once not long after unless they knock of the Newark folks early.

Wish we didn't have to wait a year but that's how it goes. Bring on Ghost and Force!!!

10/10.

Now that's how you do a season finale, left me wanting more. The cast is amazing especially Patina Miller (raq), she steals the spotlight on every scene she's in. London brown (Marvin) was also great, his character development this season was good, also as a game take a shot every time Marvin eats in this show you'll be drunk on the end of every episode. The last 10 minutes will have you the edge of your seat, Can't wait for season 3. Book 3 raising Kanan is definitely the best in the power spinoff series. I can't get into book 2 or book 4 mostly because of the terrible acting from the leads. Making the spoiled brat Tariq the lead was a mistake, and Tommy is a lot better as a supporting role than a lead.

Season 2 has interesting character development and a captivating plot. I like where "Book III" is going.

Out of the whole "Power Universe", "Book III" remains the most interesting series in the catalog. I saw a big improvement compared to season 1 and the character of Kanan is taking shape. I like how the screenwriters are showing how he became the criminal that we knew in the original series. I liked the exposition: this season was focused more on him, while in the previous one the attention was more on Raq and her business expansion. Overall, there is a nice balance, no character is left behind and we get to know every member of the family a bit better. The show explores their vulnerable sides, making them closer to the audience. The story is never boring and it always brings something different at stake, new rivals are introduced, there are some captivating subplots that expand the narrative. Some story elements are a bit dragged out and there are sequences that are ridiculous, but overall the show is very entertaining and these issues are forgivable. The more I watch "Raising Kanan", the more I am convinced that more effort should be put into this show, leaving behind the sloppy "Ghost" and the horrendous "Force" adaptations. These 10 episodes convinced me that there is so much potential and it can add a lot of value to this whole narrative universe. I just hope that the creators will keep the same quality for the next season.
