It's not just a Lovestory, there is a mystery which keeps you engrossed in the plot shown with a beautiful screenplay. Loved the fresh teenage pair, acting was very convincing by both. Abhinay worked his Charm as in his previous movies and Tejasswi looked very Natural and Magical on-screen. The realness is the core of these regional films which made me realise Bollywood seriously lacks these things- Actors performing age appropriate roles, no over the top lifestyles shown, correct depiction of society, Soulful songs with meaningful lyrics.

A great watch for a simple yet engaging Family Drama. Will do well on OTT too !!

Amazing movie,must watch, you will love it, it has English subtitles also, Tejasswi Prakash done great job, big fan of her, and that make lead Abhinay , he is also good, story line was amazing, Tejasswi Prakash did this movie 3years back, she is a great actress, love her all show,and this movie I love it, twist and turn wow , director done superb, entire cast done great job, people loving it, hope this movie will be blockbuster, I love it, my friends also love it, they become fans of Tejasswi Prakash, we love shurity and abhiney 's chemistry, ending hurts us, but love this movie, must watch everyone, love you teju 💕

Mann Kasturi Re (2022) : Movie Review -

Sanket Mane's love story, featuring Tejasswi Prakash and Abhinay Berde as the leading pair, has fresh looks and vibes but the same old story. The romance it generates is not new for Marathi movies or for audiences. Sairat became a sensation because of its shocking elements and realistic execution. It was like a once in a decade kind of phenomenon, so it won't happen with every love story. Mann Kasturi Re isn't that intricate and hard-hitting; it's a fun film with a big turnaround in the second half. The film has a painful climax that drives you into an emotional state for a while, but after all, even that is seen stuff. Sairat was about honour killing, whereas Mann Kasturi Re is about suppression.

Mann Kasturi is the love story of two young birds, Siddhant (Abhinay Berde) and Shruti (Tejasswi Prakash). Siddhant is from a poor family but has big ambitions, while Shruti belongs to a rich family. Shruti finds Siddhant attractive and starts flirting with him, and even Siddhant isn't very reluctant about it. When it comes to proposing, Siddhant clearly tells Shruti that he is not ready for commitment due to his financial and career planning. The big hearted and madly in love, Shruti, asks for just his love, without any commitments, and they begin a romantic affair. Suddenly, Shruti's father enters the picture and spoils the entire scenario, turning a good-looking love story into a hate story and a crime drama. Will Siddhant and Shruti ever be together again? Mann Kasturi Re is not a badly written script, but it is not that good either. It has its own set of flaws and fairly working parts, but most of them surrender before the outdated ideas. The first 3 meetings of Siddhant and Shruti are so casual, and yet she falls in love with him in no time. The next thing we have is her losing him for a while and catching up at college in the next scene. The flirting begins in top gear; hence, it looks inorganic. Soon they fall deeply in love, which you have no idea about until they go on to make physical love. Then the most illogical portion appears at the intermission block when Shruti and Siddhant have a fight. Even though the writers have given a clarification on Shruti's words at the end, we still leave the cinema hall without knowing why Siddhant behaved so aggressively. The second half starts on a slow note but thankfully ends with a fulfilling conclusion, and because it's a sad one, we accept it otherwise.

Talking about performance, Tejasswi's debut is not bad. Her energy and cuteness while delivering dialogue win you over, and her fans are going to love it like anything. However, the flow, stability, and maturity are missing, so there's a long way to go for Teja. Abhinay Berde looks handsome and performs well within limits. He is yet to play a challenging part in his career, and the wait continues. The typical chocolate boy image is broken in the second half of the film, but it has less screen time, so he couldn't really explore it to the sky level. Veena Jamkar is one of the finest actresses in Marathi cinema, but here she has got a pretty average role considering her standard. The supporting cast is strictly okay, even with a good talent like Rajashri Deshpande fumbling with a few dialogues.

Chinar-Mahesh have delivered many hit songs in Marathi cinema, and they know how to create youthful music. The duo has given a below average score here, while composer Shor's "Naad Lagla" is an energetic number with ultra-artificial visuals, but the audio is decent. The romantic ballad, "Rang Laagla" is a soulful song with situational impact. The editing is quite impressive considering the below-par writing. Saket Mane could have worked on nuances in the screenplay and execution. Teja would look beautiful even while waking up from the bed, how? Abinay would get into trouble so easily, yet no concrete evidence is provided. Something called "CCTV" footage, an autopsy, and call records would have helped, but such basic details are missed. As a whole, Mann Kasturi Re is strictly for lovebirds who have the heart as the most active part of their body. It definitely manages to break it with emotions, despite its so-so writing.

It's a wonderful movie to watch. Its not a typical romance and it takes such a turn in the second half which takes you through a thrilling and emotional ride. The music and performance of the actors is great ! Tejasswi-Abhiney chemistry is cute and Tejasswi's presence on screen just added a different vibe and freshness to the movie ! Absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend the movie to others.

Considering it is a regional movie and is shown in less screens , the movie and its performance shouldn't be missed at all. Regional Marathi films like this deserve a lot of love and appreciation.

I watched the whole movie just because of Abhinay Berde and Tejasswi Prakash. But it disappoints in all the departments - acting, story, direction, songs, locations, everything. There's nothing likeable in this movie.

If I talk about individual performances, Tejasswi Prakash has done a decent job. Even Abhinay Berde has also tried a lot but I would blame the director for their poor performance. As individual individual actors, I am sure they both are wonderful. Same with Rajashri Deshpande (Dipti). She is a talented actor but the directory has failed miserably in utilizing her acting talent.

On the closing note - watching Tejasswi Prakash on screen is a bliss. She looks amazingly beautiful.

The movie Mann Kasturi Re is definitely an amazing film with great performances by Abhinay Berde and Tejasswi Prakash.

The music is really soothing and the direction also is fantastic even though it's from a debut director.

Additional appreciation for Tejasswi Prakash as she has done a fabulous job as Shruti and I loved her performance which was very realistic. All actors have performed really well and the cinematography is very good too.. The climax leaves an impact and it's an amazingly well written script.. Marathi movies always have lots to offer and this film does offer everything required for a film to be blockbuster.. MUST WATCH FILM!!!

Amazing movie...loved watching it...enjoyed alot..Acting done by lead cast is marvelous.. Story is very interesting it keeps u hooked till end... Worth watching it..Supporting actors have nailed it too Songs are amazing in the movie.. It makes movie more interesting. Movie shows the reality of love stories who doesn't always have fairy tale.. Reality of difference in status and lifestyle is shown very very beautifully. How blind is love and how society see it is shown beautifully. Very beautifully directed and very well executed by actors. Tejasswi Prakash is breath of freash air and the way she has nailed each and every expression is fantabulous.. Abhinay is terrific actor the way he has nailed each and every scene is amazing. Go and watch it.. Can assure it's worth watching.

Amazing movie! Movie is a total package great storyline, great direction, amazing plot, really catchy songs, unexpected twist and turns and a totally unexpected cliamax! Movie has emotions ,drama, revenge, action , romance eveything. The leads have done a fab job both Abhinay and Tejasswi shines throughout. It's Tejasswi 's debut movie but she has portrayed all the emotions so well loved loved her in the movie and even the other actors have done a great job. It's a worth watch go and watch it you won't regret it. It's a simple movie with a really good twist to it . Finally a nice movie after long.

She can carry any role or projects on her shoulder. She can b heroine of Pan India movies. She has amazing screen presence. She is good dancer also .Abhninay has also done amazing work. He has proved himself from chocolate boy to an actor. The film is not regular love story. It has every masala of blockbuster movies. Romance of college students to suspence. Directions,cinematography, music is also best. In all everything in the film is best making it blockbuster. Marathi film industry is now a days is making good films. Regional film should be appreciated.

Lately i have been very disinterested in indian films and hardly watched any, but i give this a go since I like Tejasswi and when I tell you this film didn't disappoint me! Acting, story, plot, everything was just awesome! This film kept me entertained and even made me cry and I am a person who rarely cries so I encourage everyone to watch it, you wil astonished at how amazing it is!! Definitely going to watch it again, Tejasswi absolutely rocks!!! The emotions are very well balanced and real, the acting of every character is very well done! And we all know how good of an actress Tejasswi is, even Abhinay proved himself with this! A very well made entertaining film!

Loved the movie. It starts with a nice romantic stuff.. everything is on a light note and suddenly without you realizing things start getting serious. Don't want to give away the spoiler alert but it was completely unexpected! The performances were brilliant! The new actress nailed all the emotional scenes. It doesn't look like her debut! She excelled it. Other actors were also very good. Marathi movies have such beautiful talent that we miss in today's Hindi movie..Each and every one has a screen presence.. Never felt like I watching a movie that I don't understand. Watched with the help of subtitles. Will watch more regional movies.

Abhinay is such a fab actor - he has broken his image of a lovey dovey hero. Characters around Abhinay - his mother (amazing) his friends (hilarious) is beautifully done. Shruti's dad is such a beautiful portrayal - loved it. Sid's lawyer is such a fierce character & Rajshri ma'am what a beauty - she was equally fierce. Shruti's innocence, her happy go lucky attitude, honesty, ernesty, warmth - Shruti is a girl next door - she makes us her own - Shruti will have my heart. Songs also build up the situation. The story is a beautiful concept - reality oriented ending superb hai - emotional aur unexpected hai - will shake you.

Okay so I am tejasswi's fan and will try to be unbiased For me movie is a good watch movie like it will keep u hooked till the last scene of the movie The moment tejasswi appears on screen for me the movie starts from that very moment coz I was their to watch her ,we got to see the fetus tejasswi to stubborn and yet mature shruti,abhinay played his role very well.

Though all the stars did a great job but the actress who played shiddhant's lawyer at many point of time took the whole limelight all did a amazing job being a non Marathi now all songs makes a logic for me Tejasswi was the best thing in the whole movie ,songs are so good and all the supporting cast Special mention for the one who was with siddhant in jail Last scene will take away ur heart and will leave u vulnerable for a moment.
