- Jodie can sleep with Ryan, and Aiden can interrupt, but if he doesn't, the scenes continues until it shows Jodie in bed after sex.
- A sequence of sexual content depicts a character propositioning a woman to perform fellatio.
- There is also a shower scene involving Ellie Page's character in the game, Jodie, however, only bare back, shoulders, and arms are visible.

- Some selection of choices can lead to depictions of violence: Jodie attacking assailants with punches, kicks and various objects (e.g. tree branches and knives; impaling an enemy with a pipe).
- As the character Aiden, players solve puzzles, manipulate objects and attack (e.g. strangulation) Jodie's assailants. Players can also use Aiden to possess enemies and perform violent acts (e.g. crashing vehicles, performing self-inflicted gunshot wounds and shooting fellow SWAT members). Some of these sequences are accompanied by blood-splatter effects.
- In one cutscene, a bound character's eye is cut out during an interrogation. The act is obscured by a character's back.

- The interrogation scene can be frightening.
- One prolonged bar scene depicts three men attempting to rape a woman; players use Aiden to interact with object to stop the assailants.

- There is a scene in the "homeless" part of the game where you can help deliver a baby, bare thighs are seen but nothing explicit is shown.
Violence & Gore
- One mission has Jodie fighting alot of soldiers, and in the most bloodiest moment, Aiden possess a soldier, and shoots everyone to death.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Jodie can be almost raped a few times, one with the bar, and one while she's homeless. The bar can be avoided by either failing to sneak out, or by leaving before Jodie plays pool, and the other can be avoided by rejecting the guy who asks Jodie to follow him
- Jodie can attempt to end her life throughout the game but Aiden will stop her. Will be upsetting as Jodie can try to cut her wrist, or jump off a building, or try to shoot her self
- During the "Mission" part of the game, you save a little boy and he will work with you until a certain point, once you get to the part where you need to assassinate the president (Gamaal) you will kill multiple people, one of which happens to be the boy's father, the boy will find out what you did. This can be a very intense and emotional scene
