Le Strade di San Faustino is set in Brescia in a hypothetical near future in which the city is in the hands of organized crime, led by the powerful boss Dario Garatti. Commissioner Franklin P. Tagliente is unable in any way to stem the situation and therefore decides to rely on the experience and shrewdness of Al Zimmermann and Dave Acosta, two ex-agents with brisk ways, expelled three years earlier from the police force. All with the approval of the indecipherable commissioner Paul Andretti, willing to give Tagliente one last chance to put an end to the criminal emergency.
