From eroticism to gross-out

Rocco Siffredi evidently thought this video showcase for petite actress Eden Ivy would be a big deal but he miscalculated. There's no audience for a lavish gonzo production like this one anymore, as the DVD format is close to extinction.

It's a challenge to sit through the 3-hour show, as there are sections that are unwatchable unless you want to dote on mistreatment of women or are studying to be a gynecologist/proctologist. Rocco's attempts to impress via excess fall flat.

The minimal story concerns Eden wondering if her excessive fetish for anal sex is normal. She seeks out a psychiatrist, poorly played by Mike Chapman, who Rocco confusingly shows to be a hit author and some kind of showman, though it's not clear what his act on stage consists of. He dotes on the sexting that Eden sends him by phone of her masturbating, and reluctantly agrees to see her.

At their session, she tells of her tawdry history, led astray (my take on it) by a dominating boyfriend, played by Vince Karter, a poor man's version of Nacho Vidal. (Chapman reminds me of a poor man's version of Lexington Steele.) A long string of sex scenes are flashbacks of her anal adventures as well as erotic fantasies.

Among these XXX scenes we have Karter having a threesome with Eden and beautiful British redhead Scarlet Jones -quite explicit but not as vulgar as future segments. Next we have group sex with Cherry Kiss indulging herself (and Rocco) with some of the most exaggerated Squirting you'll ever want to see. I kept imagining Rocco yelling cut over and over so that she could get refills of Evian to keept the several pints of fluid flowing, much of it into Eden's mouth.

Eden has already demonstrated amazing deep throat abilities, in addition to her main vocation of anal action, and the next scene puts her to the test with guest TS star Natalie Mars. Mars looks beautiful but Rocco introduces her doing a sort of porno-catheter stunt, which means one should avert one's eyes till it's over. Then she puts Eden to the test with 2-foot long dildos in an extreme penetration competition, with big-dicked stud Bo Sinn joining in.

There follows Rocco's most indulgent sequence, as Karter presents Eden to a trio of "little people", one a beautiful femme Maryjane NM (who is as tall as Simone Biles) and the other two extremely ugly male sex workers, one of whom looks sullen or even angry at having to do his demeaning job. Eden is convincing "acting" like she enjoys being manhandled by the little people in what could be called humiliation for everyone -the performers as well as the viewer, with plenty of deep fisting. Karter gets turned on watching, and in perhaps Rocco's worst gambit, rewards his lover Eden for her gonzo performance by slapping her around before subjecting her to rough sex. She confides to her shrink Mike that she enjoys submission -as if we didn't know.

Very briefly, Rocco presents his piece de resistance: a 6-minute black and white sexual fantasy of Eden's, imagining a larger than life male statue which she mounts, proving she can take in her rear an oversize dick, while a cast of over 20 nude actresses writhe around surrounding her is a rather tame orgy (by gonzo standards) before carrying her off as some sort of human sacrifice. This is almost artistic, but marred by the statue being a representation of Roco Siffredi himself!

Anticlimax comes at the end of the flashbacks, as Mike Chapman gives Eden some bad advice (Rocco's screenplay is ridiculous) and then humps her, as dominating and chauvinistic as was boyfriend Karter.

A movie that would likely take pride in being called obscene, hit me as an instant artifact of the current Gonzo era, depicting what extremes a young starlet (like Eden Ivy) has to go to in order to prove her bona fides as an Adult actress/sex worker.
