The story is about forgiveness and trusting in God when we can't see the bigger picture. I was moved by the performance of the main character, Dakota, who is struggling with resentment, and I thought the dialogue did an excellent job of showing the difficulty of the Christian life and how forgiveness is a daily struggle. I could really feel Dakota's pain in his dialogue with his grandfather. Though it deals with universals, the film avoids cliches and is able to make its theme both biblical and modern. Not to mention Great cinematography and lighting! I highly recommend this film to anyone who is wrestling with understanding God's plan in a difficult situation, which is everyone from time to time.
