Warning: Spoilers
I really don't know what was happening in the building with them investigating the farm and the body. I feel like I must have missed something along the way.

Other than that, so far this season is really off to a good start. They have an intriguing premise, they're slowly showing us more and more about this corrupt family and it just feels like enjoyable TV.

This could easily have been on Showtime, there is a grittier turn to the show this year and not just drug dealers being bad.

Hopefully Big Sky can continue this momentum, but if the program's history is any indication, they'll screw it up somehow.

Hooked on the Build

I missed the twistiness of season one last year and am relieved to see it back with season three.

The writers room have found a cool, gritty concept and are building tension. Meanwhile, they're also giving us some fun, quirky moments to lighten the mood.

The cast for the most part is bringing their A game. My heart already belonged to Kylie Bunbury and DeDee Pfeiffer. Now add in the glory of Reba and Jensen Ackles.

I'm gone.

(Can we make a spin off with just Beau and Denise? Can we, please?)

I do understand why others might not rate things so highly--fear of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, story wise.

But this time I'm back to my first season optimism. The network poured a lot of faith (ie, money) into Big Sky and I'm thinking they'll survive.

Hard to follow

This is more of a general review of the series, as opposed to an actual review of "A Brief History of Crime (2022)" Episode 303

First I have to admit that this is the first year of us watching this series. That said my confusion is understandable. Maybe if I start following the many stories closer they may flow a little better. There's enough dramatic scenes to make it interesting but IMHO too many for this casual watcher to make it an enjoyable watch. It's starting to remind me of Stranger Things, where ya, there are plenty of stranger things but eventually you are always left wondering and hoping for even the slightest amount of resolution.
