Curious but enjoyable.
danielkarlsson-5973619 March 2024
A funny yet thought-provoking film about masculine ideals of loyalty and friendship across barriers of language, technology and cultures.

Although the special effects have not aged well, they serve their purpose.

Unfortunately the visual and audio quality of the film is unimpressive, due to the old recording technology and (presumably) from budget constraints.

The actors seem, by an large, to be amateurs but they take on the roles with a proper professional attitudes.

The film is quite short, running at just over 20 minutes and can be found for free on youtube.

The message of the film remains as true as ever: Strive to be kind and always fight to liberate your fellow man.

This film has everything you want in a film. You will laugh, you will cry, you will experience emotions you never knew you had.

A perfect film, if ever there was one.

Worst Film Ever? Must Watch
imdb-duke_nukem2 September 2021
This must be a (deliberate?) contender for the worst film ever, up there with Plan 9 from Outer Space (to which it owes something) and Manos : The Hands of Fate. The title alone told me it was going to be so bad that it must be worth watching. It didn't disappoint.

It's bonkers. Basically a spoof on Startrek (the spaceship has a steering wheel), but other spoofs are contained within it - spoofs on gays and what we now call MGTOW, LBGT, BLM, feminism etc. Or maybe it is spoofing the spoofs, it is hard to tell.

The plot is purile and the screenplay could have been written by a dirty-minded 12 year-old. The main characters are black males, and the only women appear briefly and are either hookers, bitchy or both. There is a lot of crudity about gays and I don't know how any of this gets past any censors (does it?), even the title.

The technical quality is appalling. Most of it is in low resolution black and white, so ill-lit that the black actors blur into it. I cannot help feeling the low quality was deliberate because it would be hard to be this bad otherwise.

Could be the worst film ever, but it is hard to choose. The title is a winner though.

Absolute emotional roller coaster
lukewatson-1596627 May 2022
This must be one of the best directed films I am yet to watch, the voice acting was perfection, the storyline was relatable and enjoyable. There was enough seriousness for it to be tense but also enough comedy for it to be funny.

Its an improved star trek with a variety of people that you get to relate too with alot of depth to them and we as viewers can really understand why they are on that mission.

It also has very accurate depictions of the real world, about how differnt women are from each country and that a man only world would reign supreme as it shows that the women are always holding us back from our true potentional.

The visuals are on another level seeing it was released in 1992, which was a long time ago and they still manage to make it look refined but good.

From start to finish, it was a complete masterpiece with the only problem being its only 30 mins long.

10/10 Have reccomended.(even cried at the end)

Simply the best movie I've ever seen
ciaranmaree11 July 2023
Movies have the unique ability to transport us to another world, to make us feel things we never thought possible, and to inspire us in ways we never thought possible. Whether it's a comedy, drama, action, or thriller, there's always something to be gained from watching a movie.

As a movie lover, I've seen my fair share of films, both good and bad. And while some movies are certainly better than others, I firmly believe that every movie has something to offer. Even a poorly made film can provide entertainment or a lesson in what not to do in filmmaking.

When it comes to reviewing movies, I think it's important to approach each film with an open mind. A movie that may not be to your taste could still be a great movie in its own right. Similarly, a movie that you love may not be everyone's cup of tea. With that in mind, I try to look at each movie objectively, taking into account the acting, writing, directing, cinematography, and other elements that make up a film.

One of the most important aspects of any movie is the acting. A great performance can elevate a movie from good to great, while a poor performance can ruin an otherwise excellent film. When the acting is good, it can be easy to forget that we're watching actors on a screen. We become invested in the characters and their stories, feeling their emotions as if they were our own. On the other hand, when the acting is bad, it can be difficult to take a movie seriously.

Another important aspect of a movie is the writing. A well-written script can make all the difference in the world. It can take an ordinary story and turn it into something extraordinary. A great script can also make us think, challenge our beliefs, and inspire us to be better people. On the other hand, a poorly written script can make a movie feel like a waste of time. It can be difficult to care about the characters or their struggles if the writing is bad.

Directing is another key element of a movie. A great director can take a good script and turn it into a masterpiece. They know how to bring out the best in their actors, how to create tension and suspense, and how to make the audience feel like they're a part of the story. A great director also knows when to hold back, letting the story speak for itself. On the other hand, a bad director can make even the best script feel dull and lifeless.

Cinematography is.

Instant classic masterpiece!

Absolutely brilliant!

Dare I say one of the best and most well thought out films of all time. It truly has it all, captivating plot, radiant characters, riveting conclusion etc. The film plays majestically on themes such as love and friendship. I think a movie like this transcends space and time. I feel as though the director through this work have pointed a spotlight on each and everyone of us. Illuminating our souls and shows us the true meaning of life. When I gace upon this humble film I do not see a movie, I see the face of god smiling down at me.

The person who came up with this concept must truly be a genius, a god amongst men even. This movie has clearly taken the spot for greatest spacemovie of all time. George Lucas wishes he would have came up with this instead of Star Wars.

To anyone calling the movie childish or immature. It is clear to me as a keen observer of the human condition that you have failed to grasp the nuanced genius of this fantastic film.

Underrated
rubenvanweers12 December 2023
An absolute masterpiece, that this show wasn't nominated for a bigga (best movie involving black people) has been one of the biggest disappointments in my life. The storytelling is on another level, the acting has been one of the greatest I have ever seen. In my opinion this movie is up there with movies like Interstellar, Project Gio and Meg II. Hope there will be a sequel involving the same cast, because the acting on itself is on another level, I would propose another director, maybe a James Cameron or Michael Bay. This storyline in combination with incredible special effects would make it an instant candidate for a bigga award.
