Marvel Studios' "Thunderbolts" has suffered another setback. Actress Ayo Edebiri has exited the project, citing scheduling conflicts. The exit comes almost exactly a year after Edebiri's casting was announced. However, "Thunderbolts" has already found its replacement: Geraldine Viswanathan.
Reporting suggests that Edebiri's scheduling conflicts stem from production delays on "Thunderbolts." Filming was previously pushed back to accommodate the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike and Edebiri's commitments evidently no longer align with the revised "Thunderbolts" schedule. Steven Yeun, who was set to appear in "Thunderbolts" as Robert Reynolds/The Sentry, has exited the project for similar reasons (the part has since been recast with Lewis Pullman).
"Thunderbolts" adapts the Marvel comic of the same name, featuring semi-reformed supervillains working together. Think of it as the equivalent of DC's Suicide Squad, especially since the MCU will be including an Amanda Waller analogue in Countess Valentina Allegra De Fontaine (Julia Louis Dreyfus). Jonathan Majors is all set to appear for his first interview after being found guilty of assault on former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The network released a short preview of the upcoming interview, and the actor breaks down in it, but it has been getting more backlash than empathy for the former Marvel star. He lost his part as Kang the Conqueror in the MCU owing to his guilty verdict.
In December 2023, Majors was found guilty, and a six-person jury reached the verdict. The actor was accompanied by his family and now-girlfriend Meagan Good. The charges against him include misdemeanor and violation, and he could face imprisonment for up to a year. Majors rose to fame after getting the role of Kang the Conqueror in the MCU,...

A producer who worked on one of the most famous songs of 2023 said The Beatles‘ “Here Comes the Sun” was ignored by one of the Fab Four’s most famous albums. In context, that makes a lot of sense. However, it might not be what fans want, especially considering that “Here Comes the Sun” is such an enduring tune.
The Beatles’ ‘Here Comes the Sun’ was left off a record of the Fab Four’s No. 1 hits
The Beatles released two of the most famous compilation albums of all time: 1962-1966 (commonly called The Red Album) and 1967-1970 (commonly called The Blue Album). During a 2023 interview with Variety, “Now and Then” producer Giles Martin discussed The Red Album and The Blue Album.
“There’s certain generations where it’s like, ‘The Red and Blue albums, what are they?'” he said. “And then there’s generations going, ‘Yeah, I know...

As its title suggests, Insidious: The Red Door, the fifth entry in the franchise, returns to the Lambert family to close the door on their ongoing saga with The Further. Set a decade after the events of Insidious: Chapter Two, star Patrick Wilson pulls double duty for this sequel, making his feature debut with a sentimental entry more interested in exploring buried secrets and family trauma than the paranormal. Less a sequel and more a continuation of Chapter Two, The Red Door gives a tender send-off to the Lamberts.
Flashback scenes from Chapter Two catch unfamiliar audiences up to speed; after young Dalton (Ty Simpkins) helps dad Josh (Patrick Wilson) escape the Further and return home, the family decides to suppress their memories. The idea, of course, is to prevent future astral projecting into the Further, closing the door on pervading entities hoping to cross into the real world.

With the caveat that reactions from the red carpet premiere or a festival debut of a major tentpole can skew positive, first word for Walt Disney and Lucasfilm’s “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” is mostly encouraging.
The fifth Indy flick starring Harrison Ford doesn’t open theatrically until the week of June 30, but Cannes audiences got the first look. “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” debuted at the 2008 Cannes Festival, however, that was days away from its Memorial Day weekend launch.
While the previous four films were A) released by Paramount and B) directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by George Lucas, this Disney entry was helmed by “3:10 to Yuma” and “Ford v Ferarri” director James Mangold.
It once again throws Dr. Henry Jones Jr. into the thick of the action, this time again fighting Nazis– personified by Mads Mikkelsen — amid the 1960s space race.

The "Insidious" series is back, and for the first time since 2013, the latest movie from James Wan and Leigh Whannell's horror universe is set to bring the scares back to where they all began: to the Lambert family and their haunted son, Dalton (Ty Simpkins). If you've been keeping up with the more recent "Insidious" installments, you might remember that 2018's "Insidious: The Last Key" ended with Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) getting a call about Dalton, the son of a boy she helped years ago.

Johannes Roberts is heading back into shark-infested waters with The Red Triangle, a brand new movie announced by Deadline today.
Deadline details, “[The] big-budget theatrical feature is set in Northern California — famous for its gorgeous beaches, but also known for a particular stretch of ocean that has a bloody reputation — The Red Triangle. Stretching south from Bodega Bay toward San Francisco and jutting out beyond the Farallon Islands and down to Big Sur south of Monterey, the Triangle encompasses around 200 miles of coastline, and is the site of almost half of all recorded great white shark attacks in the United States.”
In the film, “When a cruise ship — a massive, floating, fully stocked resort with thousands of passengers — begins to sink in The Red Triangle, the feeding frenzy begins.”
For Allen Media Group Motion Pictures, Johannes Roberts will direct from his own script, with Tea Shop Productions’ James Harris and Mark Lane producing.
