Several crew members were spotted visibly crying on set during the filming of Adam and Corri's emotional confrontation with each other at the end of the episode.
Adam Green improvised his entire speech to Corri in the apartment hallway at the end of the episode. In an effort to keep the emotions as real and honest as possible and not over-rehearse the scene, Green purposely did not plan out anything he would say in advance. In the scene, Adam Green is speaking from the heart of the character and coming up with each word on the spot while Corri English is hearing his words for the first time.
There are several mentions of homicidal maniac Sterling Torrington. Torrington is the man who randomly appeared in the first season credits and then burst through the door and killed everyone in the "Weekend of Horrors" episode.
The version of the Christmas Special that aired on television was five full minutes shorter than the version made available on FEARnet On-Demand, HULU, and every other platform that the series plays on. Due to time constraints for commercial breaks five minutes had to be removed. The cast and crew have encouraged fans of the show to be sure and seek out this extended cut after watching the episode when it airs as they consider the scenes cut to not just be extra jokes and moments but very crucial, heartfelt scenes.
