14-year-old Violette's family move to a suburban area classified as a difficult zone by the government. Bullied, she seeks 16-year-old Sabine's help, is drawn into her gang, and is soon swept up into physical violence.
Violette is a carefree 14-year-old Parisian. The birth of her baby brother prompts her parents to seek larger accommodations and move out of the city. Violette's new home is in a suburban area that has been classified as a "difficult zone" by the Ministry of Education. And Violette quickly understands why as she becomes the victim of bullying at school. Violette seeks the help of Sabine, a vibrant and out-going 16-year-old girl. Their friendship becomes passionate and Violette is drawn into Sabine's violent girls' gang: The Troublemakers. Talking tough and laughing uncontrollably with her girlfriends is great fun but Violette is soon swept up into physical violence as events spiral out of control and Sabine turns out to be dangerous company...—Happy_Evil_Dude
