a powerful film that will save lives
billbennettoz30 January 2023
Did the person who wrote the "fear this doco" see the same film as me, and the audiences that have given the film resounding applause at countless screenings across the country?

This is a powerful film that will change lives and save lives.

The photography is stunning, and the interviewees include such luminaries as Dr Joe Dispenza, Dr Bruce Lipton, Caroline Myss, Dr Lissa Rankin, Professor Matt McKay and the celebrated creator of the Internal Family Systems modality of psychological therapy, Harvard Professor Richard Schwartz.

The person who wrote the "fear this doco" review rates these esteemed and highly respected medical professionals as "third rate new age gurus" who make assertions they have no clue on. Clearly this person doesn't have a clue, and is threatened by the life-changing keys that this film holds.

Facing Fear is a film that will make you view fear from new perspectives. I recommend it highly.

I Loved This Movie

You'd imagine that if you gathered a panel of leading experts from across the spectrum of biological science, psychology, spirituality, metaphysics, and mystics that you'd find a fair bit of disagreement. Well, not here. Even though each of filmmaker Bill Bennet's interviewees stated what they were saying in a slight different way, there was an obvious sense of agreement on the subject of fear. What it is, how it affects us, how to respond to it.

Yep, there were some real crackpots featured in it (and depending who you are who they are will probably differ), but honestly, even the people whose worldview was not mine made sense and said helpful things. I genuinely found the theme of this film and the information shared helpful.

I was also delighted to discover that for the most part, my life is no longer marked by fear. It had been previously, but thanks to TRTP - the trauma therapy featured in the film - fear, phobias, anxiety, depression, and stress no longer rule me like they did in the past. It was such a delight to watch a film on fear, find incredible agreement with so many of what it is, but also know that I've found an effective way to face it.

Everyone Needs to Watch this!

Anyone who gives this film anything less than 10 stars is being very harsh and negative. I'm a hardcore critic of all entertainment, and this was a stellar film! This is a subject that more people need to be talking about. I was happy to see so many wonderful spiritual authors and public figures, whom I love, featured in this movie. Also, the cinematography is amazing! I left feeling more hopeful and I have a new, healthier way of looking at fear. This is a must-see! Bill is great. Very gracious and quite funny.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing any future films like the next one on HOPE.

Learned a LOT!
dianesova7 March 2023
I found this film to be pertinent and timely with all that has happened and is happening in our world today. For myself, I learned about how I had stuffed fears in my life and how that was affecting me even now. I appreciated hearing from such a variety of people who have themselves touched so many people and made a difference in their lives. The film caused me to think and to understand what drives me and how my life could change for the better. I also appreciated Bill Bennett's film "PGS - Your Personal Guidance System" and am looking forward to his upcoming films on Hope, Love, and Beyond the Veil. And I look forward to the film based on his book "The Way, My Way: A Camino Memoir." I have become a huge fan of this filmmaker and his team!

A remarkable and powerful documentary
petersmith-224184 March 2023
In the recent roadshow of this film across the USA and Mexico, this film was a sell-out. There are a number of reasons for this though mostly its down to the creative flair and incredible passion of Bill Bennett. When I first met Bill, I was immediately inspired. Here was a man who wanted to use his incredible talent and background in the movie business to send a message to the world that is so needed in these times. I would simplyy say that he is divinely inspired and spiritally aligned with service to humanity. To be honest I've never met anyone quite like Bill Bennett and my life is better for that experience.

I became involved in this project for those reasons. In a career in the consciousness industry spanning over two decades, helping thousands of people, this seemed like a logical next step. At the world premiere of this movie I was able to see the impact of the film in its first showing. It was in that moment that I knew that I had become involved in something remarkable. I will tell you that is was lifechanging for those of us who were interviewed, as well as those who have seen the movie and I will be forever grateful to have been part of this.

There is a certain review on this page that will suggest that I received money to be part of this film. I certainly did not, I was one of many volunteers that believe in Bill Bennett and what we are all trying to do to help people. That review also referred to the likes of me as a 'lunatic engaged in outrageous opinions'. I'd suggest that the person that disguises themselves as 'cat4-76-212843' has never met any of the cast or crew so wouldn't know, and is also known for their own strong and biased opinions in other reviews.

Yet I still send love to that person whoever they may be and invite them to spend time in the company of any of us, as that may help them understand what this is really about, we simply and collectively wish to serve humanity.

SUCH a necessary & inspiring film!
debwilsonacis4 March 2023
I strongly feel that this is the most important conversation for us to be having, now more than ever. We are so societally conditioned by fear, so deeply that we're not even aware that it is what drives us.

This excellent documentary gives us such insight into how we can begin to free ourselves from the chains that fear keeps us enslaved in & break out into living our lives authentically, from a place of trust.

I'm so very grateful to Bill & all those involved in this film, who have shown us a path into the light of awareness & freedom. It is so beautifully made and so very inspiring.

I would highly recommend this film to all.

Informative Film
pokarlla4 March 2023
A beautiful, thought-provoking film, filled with lots of information and perspectives about fear. This film was useful to me on both a personal level as an individual and on a professional level as a Counsellor. It was so interesting to learn about fear from many different practitioners and experts. I feel that this film has contributed to my ever growing knowledge base as a trauma-informed therapist. Fear affects us all, at some point in our lives. I found this film ultimately comforting; and I really loved going along on the journey with Bill in his pursuit of knowledge and information. I highly recommend this film to be watched by everyone, not just those that work in this field.

A Very Important Film
judith-299344 March 2023
Everyone needs to watch this film - several times, and take notes.

On each viewing, more richness is taken away by the viewer. Thus film made me think. Made me dive deeply into an examination of my own fears and the impact they are having on my life - and how to deal with them. Are they real fears? Or are they false fears - a story I'm making up?

A film for 10 year olds to 100 year olds.

A film that causes conversations, causes deep reflection.

A visually stunning film. I now need to revisit Tasmania, Australia.

The drone footage was so apt, so powerful.

Well Done, Bill Bennett and Jennifer Cluff!

And - Thank You.

Empowering and Transformative
eekim-4149517 March 2023
I can't express enough how needed this movie is in the current times. With news of war, illness and division that is flooding our media, Bill Bennett's movie, Facing Fear, is a breath of fresh air. It empowers and inspires us to have the realization that there absolutely is a way to peace and wellbeing. Interviewing world renowned speakers and experts on fear sheds LIGHT that we have the power to prepare for, adapt to, and recover from adversities rather than hiding in a corner and allowing fear to take over our lives.

Bill Bennett faces his own fears at the time he films this movie and demonstrates his vulnerability and courage by sharing his own story. A MUST SEE!!

Fear this doco
cat4-76-21284310 November 2022
Looking for answers in all the wrong places. 3rd rate new age gurus making all sorts of assertions about subjects they have no clue on. The writer clearly has little concept about the subject & is seeking to allay his own life issues but is making the same mistake that many of us do in our teens but in his 60's.

Avoid at all costs - do not waste your time or money. Why does a nun, a psychic, a faith healer a medium and a person who hears voices participate in this farce of a show? Money can be the only reason.

The lack of anyone with any credibility can be attributed to the lunatics engaged to give outrageous opinions!
