Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Cybermen shoot at and kill people. Several soldiers are electrocuted by said Cybermen in an action sequence. The Cybermen punch several people, leaving large blows visible. No blood is shown, however.
  • Clara tries to hit a Cyberman with an iron mace, but it is taken from her and thrown back.
  • The Cybermen massacre the inhabitants of Webley's World.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Alien alcoholic drinks are laid out on Mr. Webley's desk and throughout the theme park.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A few moments of simple sudden scares.
  • The Cybermen are even faster and scarier in this episode.
  • There is a whole scene full of sudden camera shots of Cybermen suddenly coming to life and turning round, killing and damaging people.
  • There is one scene where a Cyberman which is thought to not be working, and is used to play chess as a sort-of CPU player in the game, comes to life and attacks Mr. Webley with Cybermites which crawl into his eyes and ears, taking over his body. This may be quite scary, if not a little "uncanny valley" territory.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Porridge talks about a whole galaxy which was at war with the Cybermen, who slaughtered the population. It was then blown up along with it's innocent population, who all died. It turns out to be Porridge who blew it up and he regrets it extremely.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The whole episode is set in an abandoned theme park. Here we learn that the Cybermen kidnapped children and, as shown in previous episodes before the Cybermites existed, mutilated and converted them to make them Cybermen.
