Taylor Cervantes, an extra, has almost as much screen time as Lynch and Andrew. She plays the news reporter, the dispatch voice in the opening credits, a member of the team that sweeps the Castle house, and Sarah, the officer that sits with Lucia throughout much of the film.
Assistant Director Tyler Dean was so paranoid about getting the fake blood on the carpet of the Greyson house that he had the entire cast and crew wear paper shoe coverings and had plastic sheeting taped to the floor. In all the dinner scenes where there is blood, the actors had to walk over plastic sheeting.
The Interior and Exterior of the Greyson bathroom where Leigh and Weier confront Lucia is on the first floor even though the editing makes it appear as if all three are running up and down the stairs.
The entire production was made with only $3,000 in funds.
Near the end of the police station shoots, specifically the day of the psychologist scenes, the cast and crew were so exhausted or sick from the constant night shoots that filming had to be wrapped three hours in because no one could focus.
Jacob Whitley: is one of the officers that partakes in the sweep of the Castle house and later drags Jack out of the interrogation room.
