An estranged father and son stumble upon a fabled Theory of Everything that could alter the course of history and heal the rift between them. The film explores various personal curiosities (e.g. perpetual motion, numbers stations, infinite regress) against a backdrop of late 20th century zeitgeist: the energy crisis, ecological disaster, and political cynicism/paranoia. This is a preface to a multi-chapter essay film, to be released in installments as each chapter is completed and eventually to be exhibited in its entirety.
