Director Jim DeVault stood in for actor Billy Leo is a couple of shots on one day that the actor was not on set.
In a scene where Lou and Kate are watching television, the video is from Blood Reunion (2012), with a cheesy organ score dubbed over to give it a "B movie" feel.
Debbie D had just completed work on a production shooting in west Texas, and took a bus to Dallas to spend two days working on Jebadiah's Axe (2013) for two days to complete her scenes before flying home.
The film was completed in 10 days, with most days lasting 14 to 18 hours. Cast and crew were housed in a metal building on location dubbed The Compound, and most slept on sofas, cots, and air mattresses. Only director Jim DeVault slept in a bed, which was on the set used in the bedroom scene, in the only enclosed room in the compound.
