Shameless The Helpful Gallaghers

Warning: Spoilers
A problem the show has is dealing with Frank because it is strange a few weeks ago he was kicked out of the house and now he has made his way back inside even helping Debbie who hit him weeks ago. The plot line involving Carl and cancer is just another example of who awful Frank can be and seeing what Carl did in the camp it ended in a funny way that made the story better then it was throughout. Mandy now played by Emma Greenwell has never been a favourite character of mine and giving her a story like they did in this episode at least gave me a good feeling towards the character when she went to get her half-sister (who has a penis), accepting she had a sister at the end was a nice little moment. Fiona and her revolution at work seemed like an easy thing to accomplish but the fact these women were accepting at getting sexually abused made no sense that these women would want to have sex with their boss in these modern times. Fiona telling them all the truth had a good buildup but not a payoff. Still keeping Shelia around was just an awful decision on part of the writers (only because she got two Emmy nominations), her whole sex plot was just awful and sad because I liked the character of Shelia once upon a time. It was an average episode where the Gallagher family make an episode better then it could be because of the actors.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Ethan Cutkosky)
