What is happening?
I laughed out loud during Rachel's completely unnecessary regurgitation of what the witchy character already told us "Hurry Dick, it's sucking my energy, I don't have much time." What an absurd thing to say and how absurdly was it delivered. Film making 101, show don't tell.
Easily some of the worst writing and acting I've seen in years. Close second to the scene with smiley Gar and Kori in the tennis court. This was pinnacle CW teenage melodrama. They're all too old for this. Nothing sounded authentic to any of the characters that have been developed over the past two seasons.
Also, what's up with that demon being? Holy 90s Buffy the Vampire slayer Vampires-walking like a Zombie Batman!
I'm all for fun integrations, but what purpose did the scenes with the Doom Patrol? Was all of that about the backdoor? Really? There was so much opportunity to do more with this. I wish there was more here.
The Red integration and soul searching of last episode had no payoff.
What the hell does "the RED" even serve in this plotline, nothing feels connected, and the acting was awful. These aren't bad actors. This is just garbage writing, and horrific direction.
Every episode has been getting progressively worse...but this one takes the cake.
