The film was shot on a practical location: Jim's own apartment.
After the success of his first film, I'm Not Matt Damon (2009), Jim Rothman decided to shoot a much simpler follow-up, trying his hand at adult comedy. As I'm Not Matt Damon (2009) was a more complex 9 day shoot, in order to raise the ante for this film, for what essentially was a 2 day "apartment shoot", Jim decided to cast a recognizable person for the role of his girlfriend. For this, he turned to 'Vida Guerra.'
During the bedroom scene, having never worked with Vida Guerra before, every time Jim Rothman had to "go down there", Jim embarrassingly said, "I'm sorry" to Vida, to which she replied, "It's okay."
When Jim Rothman called Vida Guerra to discuss the film, because of the nature of the low budget shoot, Jim asked Vida to bring her own lingerie. As Vida was traveling, she explained she didn't have any with her. Jim obliged to buy her some. He was embarrassed to ask her what her size was. They both shared the laugh.
During the "licking of the meat scene" Jim Rothman placed the meat in the watery bowl for all the angles shot, shooting the close up last. By the time Jim licked the meat, it had been sitting under a lamp for over an hour. His reaction was real.
