The concept for this episode actually happened during the filming of Season 1. When Adam Green presented an award at Universal Studio's Eyegore Awards, actress Bailee Madison (who was receiving an award that night for her work in DON'T BE AFRAID OF THE DARK) approached him to introduce herself. Green was so taken aback by how intelligent and well spoken the young actress was that he came racing to set the following morning to explain his idea to his co-stars. This storyline was the very first one conceived for Season 2 and the role was written specifically for Bailee Madison.
Both "Valentino Foxx" (Cody Blue Snider) and Stacii McLixx (Shane Snider) are actually Dee Snider's sons in real life.
Bailee's sponsorship joke thanking Dermalogica skin cream is actually not a joke as the skin care product company supplied the Season 2 production's make-up department with the products for the cast's make-up. Though Dermalogica was not expecting or promised a product placement mention, Green wrote the joke in to the script as a callback to Season 1's "Butterfinger" gag.
Bailee Madison actually bruised up Corri English after throwing her up against the bathroom door take after take. On set, Corri consistently encouraged Bailee to "go for it" and throw her around as hard as possible to help sell the joke.
The entire cast has cited Bailee Madison as their favorite guest star to have ever worked with on the show and everyone on the crew was blown away by her talent and professionalism.
