- A woman is traumatised after nearly being raped in episode 7.
- A young woman describes how a man assaulted her.

- The only violence in the episode comes in two extended set-pieces. These scenes are very graphic
- Two brothers come across a large fight between a small family of humans and a relatively large group of zombies. Zombies are shot with small and gruesome blood spurts. A couple are stabbed in the head with tiny blood spurts.
- Awoman and her baby are in a car surrounded by zombies. A zombie climbing up the windshield is shot in the head causing blood to smear down the front of the car. Another has its head crushed against the car window with blood stains and brains briefly shown. The final one reaching into the back of the car is pulled out and has its head crushed by the car boot causing an incredibly graphic amount of blood and brain matter to spray everywhere.
- Faded scars are shown on a man's back as a sign of the abuse he suffered as a child.
- Daryl and Merle rescue some survivors from walkers. Some of them are shot with arrows and a throwing knife is stabbed into one. One walker had a trunk door slammed on its head, causing it to explode. A van runs over a walkers head. Blood. A battle at the prison ensues. Some men die.
