Rooster Teeth is giving its fans more gaming content to consume through an all-new channel based not in Texas, but on the West Coast. The Austin production company famous for animated web series like Red vs. Blue and Rwby has launched the Funhaus channel which will create content from Rooster Teeth’s newly-formed Los Angeles office.
Funhaus will feature content from gaming veterans Adam Kovic, Bruce Greene, Lawrence Sonntag, James Willems, Joel Rubin, Matt Peake, and Sean Poole. The seven cast members are already known online from Machinima’s old Inside Gaming department, and have previously appeared on season two of Rooster Teeth’s competition show The Gauntlet.
The Funhaus guys will not only play games on their channel, but will also release a podcast, cover related events, participate in fan Q&A sessions, contribute to Rooster Teeth’s news show The Know, and appear on Rooster Teeth’s video podcast.

In a massive development that will shake up the online video landscape, Fullscreen--a top multi-channel network that manages content on YouTube and other online video platforms--has agreed to acquire Rooster Teeth, a creative studio best known for its gaming-related content. Fullscreen announced the acquisition with a press release, in which Fullscreen CEO George Strompolos called Rooster Teeth "a perfect match for Fullscreen." Rooster Teeth first came to prominence through Red Vs. Blue, a web series set in the world of Halo that recently concluded its 12th season. While that series put Rooster Teeth on the map, it has since branched out its offerings. It has its own podcast, an upcoming video game based on Rwby, and Lazer Team, a...

One of Blip's best and most popular series is back in full swing. The Gauntlet, Rooster Teeth's very and intense and very cheeky video game competition, has released the first real episode of its second season. For the uninitiated, The Gauntlet pits four teams against one another in virtual combat, with Red Vs. Blue leading men Burnie Burns and Joel Heyman providing Rooster Teeth's signature pithy commentary along the way. One team consists of Rooster Teeth personalities, another features hosts from the channel's Achievement Hunter series (including the always fun Gavin Free), a third features handpicked members of the Rooster Teeth community as selected during a gaming challenge at the channel's Rtx convention, and the fourth includes a quartet of notable online video personalities: Freddiew, iJustine, and hosts from IGN and Machinima. In the first competitive episode, the four teams battle in a round of Halo 4. Unsurprisingly, it is the Rtx gamers who emerge victorious.
