I feel like we have gotten the helicopter crash story on this show before, we know we have gotten it on other medical dramas, but it hit a little bit differently here as the "beloved" Governor was one of the victims. We knew his feud with Chastain would come back into play, we just did not know in this way.
This show has its share of bad guys from time to time, but it does not make them overly cartoonish like a lot of broadcast dramas do. For that reason I think it has been able to survive for as long as it has and that is why, despite what the rumors are, that I truly hope this is not the show's final season.
