Good grief! Christmas specials are in full swing, and the networks dusted off some of their biggest classics last week: ABC’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and CBS’ “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” In their inaugural 2017 runs, “Rudolph” (2.1 among adults 18-49) edged out “Charlie Brown” (1.8), giving a ratings edge to the reindeer with a very shiny nose.
“Rudolph,” which premiered in 1964, and “Charlie Brown,” which first bowed in 1965, are considered the key staples in a sea of primetime holiday specials, some of which have come and gone over the years. But both specials were overshadowed this year by a newcomer: “DreamWorks Trolls Holiday,” which averaged a 2.4 rating when it aired on Nov. 24, during the Thanksgiving weekend.
But there are plenty of caveats to all of this, since none of the specials actually faced off in the same time slot. “A Charlie Brown Christmas” performed respectably considering it aired in a tough Thursday 8 p.

The Performer | Rachel Bloom
The Show | Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
The Episode | “Josh Is Irrelevant.” (Nov. 17, 2017)
The Performance | Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is considered a comedy — and it is damn funny — but that really only scratches the surface of the full range of complex emotions Bloom goes through each week playing the “adorably obsessed” Rebecca Bunch. And that range was on full display this week, as we learned exactly how “crazy” Rebecca actually is.

Two new full trailers have been released for the third film in the absurd Fifty Shades trilogy, Fifty Shades Freed. The trailers are filled with plenty of moments that will make you roll your eyes as the new sequel will be filled with amusingly absurd dialogue that is always highlighted in the Honest Trailers. You can watch the Honest Trailers for the previously released films in the franchise here and here. Good grief, these movies are so stupid, and this third film in the franchise won't be any different.

While many of us enjoyed the final hours of a three-day weekend, the remaining So You Think You Can Dance contestants worked overtime for the Fox series’ Labor Day installment.
And oh, what an episode it was. There were tears, courtesy of Mary Murphy. There was an overuse of the word “stupendous,” courtesy of Vanessa Hudgens. And there was some infuriating favoritism of one particular couple, courtesy of Cat Deeley.
All that, and a genuinely shocking elimination — at least for this recapper, who did not see it coming.

Director Edgar Wright has made another movie masterpiece. Good grief, this guy can direct like no other director out there. All of the films that he’s made is unique in its own way and Baby Driver is easily one of his best!
I’ve already seen the film twice and even though I absolutely loved the film the first time I saw it, it was even better the second time around! This is one of those films that I’ll be able to watch anytime, anywhere, for years to come, and I’m never going to get tired of it.
It’s seriously an instant classic and delivers everything that any great film has. A solid story, fantastic characters, and superb casting. On top of that, Baby Driver is filled with action, adventure, drama, comedy, good music, and badass adrenaline-fueled car chase scenes that are unlike anything you’ve ever seen before! And all those car chase scenes were done for real as well! There was no CGI cheating going on!
The film stars Ansel Elgort as a getaway driver who gets trapped in a life of crime and is trying to work his way out of it. In the process of his attempt to leave his life of crime behind, he meets and falls head-over-heels for a lovely girl (Lily James) that he wants to run away with. One of the things that I love about this film that makes it so interesting is that the main character suffers from tinnitus, which is a constant ringing in the ear, and the “movie’s action is choreographed to the music he plays to drown out the ringing in his ears." It's such a freakin' cool and unique concept that was executed perfectly.
The amazingly talented cast of actors that Wright enlisted to star in the film includes Jamie Foxx, Elsa Gonzalez, Lily James, Jon Bernthal and Kevin Spacey. All of which give fantastic performances for the characters they play.
I really dug the vibe of this movie and it had kind of an old-school style movie tone. It reminded me of the heist films and action thrillers from the 70s that I’ve enjoyed watching like Bullitt and Vanishing Point, but obviously, it takes place in a modern day setting.
If you’re a fan of Edgar Wright or just a fan of movies in general, you’re gonna love and appreciate what he’s done with Baby Driver! You need to watch this movie when it hits theaters! You've got to see it on the big screen!

A look-back at the previous attempts to bring Archie to TV before they got it right with Riverdale...
When Riverdale premieres on the CW on January 26th, it will mark a milestone for Archie Comics - the first time in the company's 75-year history that its characters will truly shine on television. A mix of gleefully ridiculous kitsch with standout performances and some truly smart writing, the series is poised to be 2017's breakout TV hit.

On Tuesday, Stephen Colbert and “The Late Show” cranked out a charming and humorous cold-open ode to Charlie Brown. The following night, they followed up with a claymation Christmas special, which taught everyone a lesson about old-school production constraints and deadlines. The joke of the sketch was how crappy the whole effort turned out, so don’t yell at TheWrap for pointing out the obvious. Alain Moussi is a very happy man. When we spoke to him on the phone to talk about the home release of Kickboxer: Vengeance his enthusiasm and passion for the film and all things action movie related were in abundance and rightly so. Moussi has been working in stunts for years, doubling for the likes of Henry Cavill, Aaron Eckhart and recently Hugh Jackman in this year’s X-Men: Apocalypse, but Kickboxer has given him not only the chance to play his first lead role, but to act alongside several of his childhood heroes. There’s also the benefit that two sequels have already been greenlit and are under production already, so here’s hoping Moussi’s first franchise shines a light on his burgeoning talent.

The actor has posted dozens of photographs and videos already (103 to be exact), including adorable footage of his mom and son Flynn. Oh, and did we mention his shirtless posts? And the pics of Katy Perry? And the swimming video? Good grief, what a time to be alive. Never has the anticipation been so high waiting for a man to dive into a pool. (Well, maybe at the Olympics, but this is a close second.) Or perhaps he just finished a shirtless...

Have the Bernie or Busters finally busted? #ImWithHerNow was trending on Twitter on Friday, the day after Hillary Clinton accepted the nomination to became the first female presidential candidate for a major party. More than 51,000 users tweeted the hashtag, with many citing the need to defeat Gop nominee Donald Trump as the reason they swung their support from Bernie Sanders to Clinton. "Bernie was my first choice but #ImWithHerNow because the other choice is Trump," one user, @littlegunther13, summed up her change of heart. Others said they were swayed by the diversity and positive vibes of the Democratic convention. #DemsInPhilly...

Chicago based Edm trio Autograf have delivered a new remix of “Good Grief” by Bastille, dropping a somber flip on the indie rock band’s recently released single.
Autograf brings “Good Grief” into more minor territory on their remix, taking the upbeat original in a somber direction without losing the energetic rhythms. Steady kicks create a sturdy rhythmic backbone that runs throughout the mix, while dark synth progressions are layered beneath the catchy vocals. The new direction Autograf takes actually fits the lyrical content of the song a bit better than the original, while still delivering a dance floor ready tune.
While Bastille’s original song was an uplifting indie cut with down trodden lyrics, Autograf give “Good Grief” a genuine remix that manages to top its source material.
If you’re interested, be sure to grab a pre-order of Autograf‘s upcoming album Wild World and receive their remix of “Good Grief” instantly.

Good grief, the Fosters can't ever seem to catch a break!
To be fair, if their lives were all sunshine and rainbows, there wouldn't be anything worth watching. The Fosters Season 4 Episode 3 was not nearly as intense as the previous two episodes, but it was far from sunshine and rainbows.

If there was a competition on which Foster was suffering the most, it would definitely be between Marianna and Lena. The show is doing a fantastic job with the aftermath of the Nick situation.
My heart aches for Lena. She's trying so desperately to keep it together, but she's genuinely afraid. She's throwing everything she has into making sure their home and the school are safe. She's traumatized!
Lena obsessively checking in on the kids at home was devastating. She's insistent that they install a security system in the home and agitated that Stef isn't getting it done quickly.

How would you program this year's newest, most interesting films into double features with movies of the past you saw in 2015?Looking back over the year at what films moved and impressed us, it is clear that watching old films is a crucial part of making new films meaningful. Thus, the annual tradition of our end of year poll, which calls upon our writers to pick both a new and an old film: they were challenged to choose a new film they saw in 2015—in theatres or at a festival—and creatively pair it with an old film they also saw in 2015 to create a unique double feature. All the contributors were given the option to write some text explaining their 2015 fantasy double feature. What's more, each writer was given the option to list more pairings, with or without explanation, as further imaginative film programming we'd be lucky to catch...

Is Face The Raven any good? Yes, yes, yessity-yes. Here's our spoiler-free review of the next Doctor Who series 9 episode...
Today, the BBC has cost me 40p. In that time, I've listened to a bit of radio, caught up with the news at the BBC website. And then?
I watched Saturday's Doctor Who.
Good grief. In a series that's not been afraid to take twists, turns, to go off in precisely the opposite direction that people were expecting, Face The Raven has again demonstrated the confidence and talent that's fuelling modern day Doctor Who. It does feel like we take a lot of this for granted, but there are several flat-out exquisite moments in this episode - not least Peter Capaldi giving his work in The Zygon Inversion a run for its money - that surely deserve at the very least a lot more respect. Some thunderous applause would help,...

Good grief — the man who used to provide the voice for beloved cartoon character Charlie Brown has once again found himself in legal hot water. Peter Robbins, who voiced Charlie Brown in 1960s TV specials including “He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown,” “You’re in Love, Charlie Brown” and “It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown,” pleaded guilty to making criminal threats on Tuesday. According to the Associated Press, Robbins (pictured above) was accused of threatening the manager of a mobile-home park, and also offering $50,000 to have San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore killed. You did it, Charlie Brown! Going where many before him have stumbled and fallen, Charles M. Schulz’s iconic, follicly-challenged underdog has made a notably smooth transition to computer-animated 3D with The Peanuts Movie, a delightful romp that captures the spirit of the adored 65-year-old comic strip. It’s evident from the very start—with Schroeder accompanying the Fox fanfare on his baby, baby grand—that those who may have initially cried “Good grief!” when the studio announced the upgrade three years ago could just sit back and relax. Well aware that they were dealing with precious cargo, director Steve

Back in the summer, I acknowledged my own hypocrisy about TV's sequel series craze, admitting that I can't wait for new "X-Files" and "Twin Peaks" episodes, even as I was annoyed that "Heroes," "Full House," "Coach," and seemingly every other TV show ever made was getting a follow-up of some kind. In the months since, NBC passed on the "Coach" revival, and "Heroes Reborn" was as bad as I expected it to be. But TV executives continue to oppose the idea that sometimes, dead is better, and last night brought a report from TVLine's Michael Ausiello that "Gilmore Girls" will live again on Netflix, as four 90-minute episodes written and produced by "Gilmore" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her husband Daniel Palladino. On the one hand, "Gilmore Girls" was a wonderful show — one of the very best to ever air during the brief but memorable life of the WB network — and...

Bomer's back for another season of American Horror Story scares and the almost 6 million viewers who tuned into Ahs: Hotel's premiere this week got to see the actor flaunting his rock-hard abs in a steamy foursome scene—where he stripped down completely naked alongside new co-star Lady Gaga. Good grief! Charles M. Schulz published his first Peanuts comic strip 65 years ago Friday. If you feel old, imagine how old Charlie Brown feels! Although he never seemed to age in all of his printed years, we're sure the fictional character is feeling elderly today in honor of his fake birthday. The comic strip author had been pushing the idea of Charlie Brown, his mischievous dog Snoopy and his friends for three years before it finally got published in nine newspapers in 1950. Shortly after more than 2,000 publications picked it up. Unlucky in life, love and everything else, Charlie Brown's real luck lay in his enduring success, appearing in papers for more than 50 years until his creator died in...

Warning: This article contains detail on graphic violence, gore and sexual abuse that some readers may wish to avoid.
The Human Centipede 3 (Final Sequence) is in UK cinemas now, serving up more stomach-churning depravity, questionable morality and serious over-acting.
In outing number three, Centipede veteran Dieter Laser plays a cowboy prison warden under fire thanks to a heatwave that's sending inmates into a riotous fury. With cost cutting and prison efficiency a priority, the warden's accountant Dwight (star of Centipede 2 Laurence R Harvey) suggests sewing the inmates all together as a solution. From there... well, things naturally get grim.
We braved all of Final Sequence's 103 minutes to bring you a timeline of gruesomeness. And Eric Roberts. Naturally, this contains spoilers and is very Nsfw.

There's a new kid in town in the new trailer for "The Peanuts Movie," and no, it's not Snoopy's alter ego Joe Cool (though the sunglasses and turtleneck-sporting beagle does make an appearance).
The kid in question is none other than the Little Red-Haired Girl, the unseen source of Charlie Brown's pining throughout Charles Schulz's long-running comic series. Here, she's just moved into Chuck's neighborhood (her face is obscured from the audience for now), and he's desperate to make a good first impression.
"This time, things will be different," he declares, before promptly knocking over a pile of moving boxes, and a fence for good measure. Good grief, indeed.
Fans of Schulz's series worried that it wouldn't translate well to the 3D, CGI format, but those fears appear to be unfounded, as the lighthearted humor and smile-inducing spirit of the original comics (and their cartoon TV movie brethren) appear to be intact.

When a movie can talk about a girl’s sexuality without exploitation, diluting the point with girl power music or using a hapless schtick, it’s an achievement. It shouldn’t have to be considered an achievement of course, but have you seen the movies trying to tackle this subject? Good grief.
So here we have the first trailer for the coming-of-age Sundance hit The Diary of a Teenage Girl. It’s based on Phoebe Gloeckner‘s novel and stars Bel Powley as a fifteen-year-old girl navigating the counter culture haze of the 1970s who begins an affair with her mother’s (Kristen Wiig) boyfriend (Alexander Skarsgard).
The movie looks to be taking a real and direct approach to sexuality with its heavy story and unique visuals; it reminds me Terry Zwigoff’s great work with Ghost World or Heather Matarazzo in Welcome to the Dollhouse. I will be keeping...

Thanks to our friends at Latino Review, we have some potentially mind-blowing details for what we will see happen in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and more. The details also include the inclusion of Spider-Man. The deal between Marvel and Sony has reportedly gone through.
I will tell you right off the bat that there are some major Spoilers ahead. Latino Review is always pretty spot on with the intel they get, but until there's confirmation, we will still treat it as a rumor.
Before we begin, though, they make it very clear that Andrew Garfield will not be a part of any future Spider-Man deal. (There have been some rumors that Garfield would appear in a movie with Tobey Maguire also reprising his role as the web-slinger, but those seemingly aren't true.)
Now on to the meat of the article...Spoilers ahead for what might happen...

Not long ago, I put together a list of 15 toys from the 1990s that you may have forgotten about. I decided to go back in time a little further and find some from the 1980s that you may not remember or maybe never even heard of. I grew up in the '80s and some of my favorite toys consisted of G.I. Joe, He-Man, Transformers, and more. You can read through 12 of my favorites right here. While I was doing some research on these toys, there were some things that I completely forgot about! It was so great to be able to unlock some of those memories that I hadn't thought about in years. It was seriously like going back in time, and now I want to buy back my childhood in the form of toys!
