Meh?
lanecormier30 July 2023
I wanted to go into this not being a bitter hater because Jamie Lynn Spears does not deserve good publicity. But having watched this show when I was young I was intrigued anyway.

1. Too much is going on. There's a subplot about Zoey's job that really takes up to much of the run time.

I'd rather focus on the wedding.

2. For the most part, I feel like the characters have some semblance of who they once were. Like Stacey being an obsessive true crime podcaster makes sense somehow.

Quinn only had like... one moment of being a weirdo.

Zoey... she never seemed like the person who passively accepted misogyny. It's a real world thing, but would she really stay at a job that ignores her for that long? She had more gumption as a teenage girl.

3. I had a few laughs, so the jokes weren't completely horrible. Like PCA being an unaccredited school was a good tongue in cheek joke.

4. I had to grab a drink after the 30 minute mark to be honest.

5. Jamie Lynn being a horrible person to her costars and her sister makes it hard to remember I'm watching Zoey. Or that the show itself was toxic as all get out.

6. iCarly is a better example of how to actually revive a series for an adult audience.

I don't know why Nickelodeon greenlit this but Jamie Lynn needs money I guess.

Overall, if you don't care about the drama behind the scenes, that Jamie Lynn is a monster and just wanna watch your bonus episode of Zoey 101, I'd say go for it.

Uhm... Okay?

Warning: Spoilers
What was the point of this film? I was genuinely excited for this film just because I rewatched the series with my sister earlier in the summertime. (It was one of our favorite nickelodeon shows) And when we finally sat down to watch this movie we both felt disappointed and drained of all excitement and awe.

The acting in the film is serviceable at best. You can tell none of the main cast has truly acted in a long time. Zoey is slightly better than she was in the original series (less eye-rolling) but her chemistry with everyone else, or lack thereof, really hinders the movie. Especially her chemistry with Sean Flynn/Chase. Everytime they shared the screen together it felt very awkward and forced. Even their eventual kiss felt awkward and as though both actors didn't want to film the scene.

The jokes are very hit or miss. Most of them feeling like leftover punchlines from the original series, which could be a plus or negative depending on how low brow your sense of humor is. Funnily enough, my favorite character in this film wasn't even a part of the original cast. Todd/Zoey's fake BF was by far the funniest and most entertaining character in the movie. The side plot with Zoey's job felt unrelated and shoehorned in to add more running time to the movie. It was just unnecessary.

The movie also retcons a lot of the original series and passes them off as jokes. The main retcon being that PCA was a scam, money laundering operation led by Dean Rivers that caused the entire school to shut down after Zoey's class graduated. But this raises a lot of questions that im sure the writers didn't think the viewer would ask, such as how did they get into college without a high school diploma and how did no parent or BoE member realize this was a scam?

All in all, this was a slightly below average film created to cash in on millions of young adults nostalgia for their favorite childhood tv show. I would mention the other cast members who don't show up, like Lola, Nicole and Dustin, but honestly i think they dodged a bullet by not being in this film. If you want to watch the PCA crew as you knew and loved them, then just watch the first 3 seasons of the original series. (s4 sucked)

All the 5/10 ratings can't be wrong
NuovoCinema14 August 2023
It's not common to find a light movie getting so polarized opinions. 50% in RT, 50% here in ImdB, 4.9/10 in Filmaffinity. I really wanted to give it more than 5/10 but I have to agree with the average, for some reasons I would like to explain.

The movie have just a remarkable 9-minute sequence, the karaoke joint. The revelation of PCA academy as being unlicensed and the "Time of our lives" duet are funny. But in the rest of this is 101-min long mess there are flaws and not very funny things. Zoey being trapped with Chase inside a full automatic car and claiming not knowing how to open the door, when all she has to do is call the owner, that is nonsense. The truth about the fake Zoey's boyfriend in the last scene is unnecessary portrayed. And those feminist references sprinkled here and there in the movie are not funny at all.

As to the cast, it was good to see Mark and Stacey characters practically unchanged, but Quinn should have preserved her black hair at least. Sad thing Lola doesn't appear even when Victoria Justice should accept any role considering the little success she's having in the business.

In summary, this movie is a product of the inexperience, as much in writing as in directing, but has some moments that hardcore Zoey fans will appreciate. But I'm not one of them.

I can't get my time back.
jjtunin7 August 2023
This movie is a complete waste of time to watch. I hated this movie so much that I had to write this review. I have seen many comedies that were focused on a wedding going wrong. This is the worst I've seen. I didn't laugh once during it. It makes me feel depressed that people would want to live in a world that was anything like the lifestyles of those in this movie. The only reason this film exists is, most likely, to try and make Jamie Spears relevant. Probably as a gift from her sister to try and make her something she is not. I would prefer never to see Jamie Spears in any movie or show in the future.

When PCA shuttered... so should have all hopes of a sequel
PerryAtTheMovies14 August 2023
3.8/10

This was not a nostalgia movie we needed. I didn't know it existed until I found it scrolling through Paramount+, and I much rather have liked not knowing it existed. While I can't remember "Zoey 101" completely, it was one of the shows I grew up on as the actors and actresses were, and are my age, but despite a few jokes from the show I feel I got nothing out of the movie. It doesn't need to exist. It shouldn't exist.

There were very small pieces of humour that were funny, but really it feels stale. The acting was rigid. The story was mediocre. The spark of "Zoey 101" doesn't exist. The characters are somewhat relatable, but you can really find that in any other show or movie. Lastly, the pacing is slow. There came a point where I had given up on the movie, but I had to see it through knowing there was no recovery.

The big takeaway is that if you want your childhood memories of this show to stay in tact then don't bother watching this film. In the end I was left with the feeling of "that's it?" I wasn't even happy to see the reunion in the end. I wished for better.

That's all for now. Thank you for reading my review, and until next time.... Enjoy the show!

Slightly grew on me, but overall this was not necessary
burgerman934 August 2023
Nickelodeon was my jam growing up. While Drake and Josh was my favorite live action sitcom on Nick, Zoey 101 was also funky and humorous for teenagers. I can appreciate some of the call-backs they did from the original series (Chase crashing into a pole or the characters' showcasing some of the tech devices).

Years later this didn't have the same warm and fuzzy vibe; I maybe laughed at one or two of the jokes. I honestly don't feel that Jamie Lynn Spears can act. On that basis, I felt that Quinn and Logan's actors dominated the action and had a believable conflict to resolve. Any of the scenes of Zoey at work were over the top.

I was glad that I stuck this one through, I liked the last 20 minutes because it was simplistic and somewhat heartfelt. But in terms of humor, character development, and script, I couldn't care less.

Too much controversy?
cascascinemareceipts4 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
'Zoey 102' is a movie sequel/reboot of the Nickelodeon original series 'Zoey 101'. This film follows Zoey Brooks, (Jamie Lynn Spears) this time in her 20s, attempting to figure out love and life. As it turns out, Zoey and Chase did not end up in Hawaii during the summer after the events of 'Zoey 101'. In fact they haven't spoken since. However, when close friends Quinn and Logan announce they're getting married. Zoey and Chase find themselves in the wedding party.

Much like many others, I was blinded by nostalgia going into this movie. Wasn't everybody? Having seen the film through. I have some thoughts. Firstly, the movie follows a somewhat predictable plot. Zoey is challenged with juggling two different events that fall on the same day. To much surprise, everything falls apart. Alongside that, there is this strange sub plot of (I kid you not) a murderer on the loose known as the 'Malibu Murderer'. WHAT!?

I can't even begin to explain the messiness of this movie. Not only is the actual movie a bizarre mess. It's not so pretty behind the scenes either. The world of 'Zoey 101' has so much controversy surrounding it. It's a genuine surprise to me that this movie was even made. It's almost as if it was released to make people forget.

Overall, I think I could've done with skipping out on this one!

Nice nostalgia overpowers bland subplot.
adotson-9823327 July 2023
"Zoey 102" is a movie that I really thought wouldn't work, I was shocked though how much I actually really enjoyed this movie, for the most part.

Starting with the good, I think all the old cast members do a really great job at getting back into character. It was really nice to catch up with everyone. I liked the main story here, I though it fit very well for a Zoey 101 reboot. I also really like some of the new characters, particularly Dean Geyer and Audrey Whitney. I really like both of them and though they were pretty funny. Along with that I also thought the film was decently funny. And finally I was surprised how well shot the movie was. The lighting was very vibrant and overall it was a good looking movie.

However all of the new stuff including the subplot with Zoeys job I thought was very boring. I was really entertained with the main story but whenever it went back to that part of the movie I honestly was getting very bored. I also thought the pacing at times suffered as the movie felt a little longer than it was. And finally I did wish there was some more callbacks to the original series just to make it feel more like Zoey 101.

Overall though, despite a pretty bland subplot and pacing issues I did find this to be a pretty decent catch-up with the old series.

Not the reboot this fan was hoping for...
tiffanytarwater17 October 2023
Most of the characters we know and love return in this very odd, difficult to characterize film.

Is it a drama, a wedding reunion, a roadtrip comedy, a murder mystery? -My head is still reeling trying to make sense of it all. It seems like the writing room took everyone's ideas and ran with them all at once without giving it much thought.

As a millennial who really enjoyed the escapist nature of the original series, the last thing I wanted to see was the characters I love struggling to find their footing in the adult world.

I would have preferred to see evolved characters with remnants of their high school quirks act in adult functions related to the PCA campus-whether it be teachers, administrators, board of directors, donors, or parents.

Absolutely loved! The hopeless romantic in movie in me is very much pleased. Rocky start but everything turned out great in the end. I hope to see a Zoey 103 and Zoey 104. I may be almost 30 but I am a kid at heart who just loved Zoey 101. Definitely recommend to your friends. Perfect addition to your Summer 2023. We neeeeeeeeed more please, please, please!!!! Quinn and Logan are my ultimate OTP as I am sure they are for a lot of other people. Will for sure be rewatching and rewatching with them everyone I know. I love that these shows are coming out with adult versions bc that's what we are. Great job!

A Reboot We Didn't Need, but Good Nonetheless
chaseslaughter27 July 2023
Feels like yesterday I watched the final episode of "Zoey 101 (2005)". One of the cult classic Nickelodeon shows of the 2000's that ended too soon. Then when we got a subtle tease of a return back in. I was honestly looking forward to it, but then the controversy broke out about Dan Schneider and he was booted from the studio. Seemed like all possibility of a reboot coming out was unlikely. Fast forward to a few months ago, this was announced out of nowhere. "Zoey 102" seemed like a bittersweet idea, but I was wondering would it actually be good? "iCarly (2021)" may be doing well, but they were lucky.

We catch up with most of the PCA posse in present day. While the school may be no more and Lola Martinez, Dana Cruz, and Nicole Bristow are absent, Logan Reese and Quinn Pensky are getting married, Michael Barret is Michael Barret, Mark Del Figgalo and Stacey Dillsen are married, Dustin Brooks is now a father (talk about loaded), but Zoey Brooks is struggling between maintaining a steady career and reminiscing over her failed relationship with Chase Matthews. When Quinn asks Zoey to be her maid of honor, Zoey's ecstatic at first, but then she learns Chase is the best man and the wedding takes place on a big day for her occupation as a show producer. Zoey must make several compromises to ensure Quinn's wedding and her show's production doesn't fall apart while battling her conflicting feelings for her ex. Sounds like every 25-year old today.

Before going into this, I wasn't expecting a spectacle of comedy. Just an updated version of what we've seen before and an opportunity to go back to the past of being 8 years old, coming home from school and turning on Nickelodeon. And that's exactly what this is. A welcomed nostalgic resurrection.

Everyone naturally slips back into their original roles we knew them as. Now as successful adults or struggling to make a proper living. A relatable trope that's become more relevant now than before, sadly. But that's the tea when you're on your own and living your 20's.

The movie mostly centers around Zoey, no surprise there. The plot, though well-weaved, kinda comes off as generic. We've seen these ideas so much that nothing is really new here; though for what it is, it works and everything balances out and it actually sets up a possibility for a series reboot. I would not mind it since "iCarly (2008)" got it first. And "Victorious (2010)" could probably use one too since it didn't end with a proper finale.

This is a movie mostly made for the fans of "Zoey 101 (2005)". Casual audiences won't see anything new here. If you were a fan of the show in its time on Nick, you're gonna love this.

Awful
nathancop19832 August 2023
Absolutely awful, I really don't know what to say about this "movie" Jamie lynn is as wet as ever, she really cannot act, still trying to reach the same level of stardom that her sister has. She really should give up, and honestly this should never have been made, drab and not funny at all.

I did try and give it 100% of my attention but found that my mind wandered off, I spent a lot of my time looking up who was in the film.

Very predictable and not well written, the jokes didn't land and I found it all a bit forced, almost like the actors didn't gel well, that's 101 mins of my life I'll never get back, wasted on this garbage.

I loved Zoey 101 as a preteen, but...
abbs-120229 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Character breakdown: Zoey wasn't Zoey. Chase was himself along with Logan, Michael and Stacey. Quinn felt forced to play her science quirky in a low profile demeter and Mark was just kind of there. There were also some show to movie problems as well. Yes, things do change after 13 years, however, the writing wasn't ideal or tried to hard to match the original material. Zoey's career wouldn't be as lame as it was projected. Chase's BFF would be Michael and not Logan. How aren't Quinn and Logan not married yet or even still together? Are we just going to ignore that 2015 or 16 special that featured Chase about to propose to a previous girlfriend when Michael barged in and told him that he dug up the time capsule and watched what Zoey said about him? They were all excited to see each other and would have more interaction with each other than they did in this film. Also, doesn't the character of Jordan B. Remind anyone else of "Totally Kyle" from Drake and Josh?

Nice touches: Those gloves that Lyric wears are a total Quinn invention, Michael singing karaoke was fun, Chase running into a pole and always being clumsy was a cute nod, Logan handling everything was a perfect match along with his cut offs, recalling previous characters such as Lola, Dustin, Dana and Dean Rivers were nice, and Quinn being confrontational towards Zoey when she is working during her wedding plays into Quinns character very well.

Overall, it was entertaining and I found myself laughing at moments that I didn't think I'd enjoy. I liked seeing the characters together again, however I think it was a try hard at returning to a series that has been long concluded since the mid 2000s.

Not Good Enough
PennyReviews7 August 2023
Zoey 102 is a bonus movie of the teen tv series Zoey 101 that had aired more than a decade ago (close to two actually).

If you haven't watched the series, you probably won't get some of the jokes, which does take some of the fun out, as the rest of the movie is boring and makes no sense.

The story is messy and handles too many subjests, and leaves them all underdeveloped and half baked. Not to mention that most of the characters had no storyline, only a character cell.

Finally, the plot is cheesy and it does feel like it was written in the early 2000's. And what was the deal with all that sci fi advanced technology gadgets that they added?

Waste of TIME!!!!
zach-huska9 August 2023
Oh my goodness WROST movie ever!!!!! I hated it. The old tv series was a lot better than this!!!! 15 years later awful!!!!! I can't stand this movie had to stop watching it after 15 minutes!!! This is so bad!!!! Don't watch it and if you are a fan of this good for you. Zoey 102 needs a lot of editing and needs more big names in it!!! This could be a PG-13 movie in the theaters or Rated R comedy and it could be much better. I hate this movie!!!!! This deserves a 1/10 I am not surprised this movie did so bad!!!! It looked funny at first but I was wrong. It's not funny and Nickelodeon made it which is even worse!!!! Paramount plus needs to edit this movie. PLEASE.

Liked it, could've been better
shakedatjunk10 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed it for what it was but the plot should've been different. It should've been a reunion at PCA where they all stay for a weekend or something like that and they are there the whole movie mingling & catching up with a little drama. PCA was like a character itself, one of the biggest appeals of the show & at the heart of it. They could've even through in a little mystery or something with Quinn's science like they use to do in the show.

Also all the stuff with Zoey's job & her having to keep working throughout the whole movie & the guy she was managing were all really pointless & annoying. Those scenes were easily the worst & bogs it down. It could've established what she does for a living in a quick 2-5 minutes it didn't matter at all for the movie. Especially because they set it up like her whole goal is about furthering her career & moving up and like the possible reason she flaked on Chase was to pursue her career but that wasn't even the reason so it really was pointless to have all that.

A nice simple story of them all reuniting at PCA for like a 3 day reunion doing fun stuff like they did in the show would've been a much more satisfying plot. Definitely missed Victoria Justice as well.

Fun nostalgia trip
dancampbell-674564 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
So I had to see this movie for nostalgia sake because I loved Zoey 101 when it was on in the mid 2000's. Pretty much straight from the off you realise after a couple of swear words here and there you realise us 90's kids who grew up with Zoey 101 are the main target audience for this movie which is cool but also kind of a let down considering how much the movie felt like it was actually aimed at younger kids throughout lol. I feel like the whole Zoey and work storyline could've been totally dropped from this movie and I would've stayed more invested whilst watching to be honest. Despite that I think they retained everybody's personality's well from the original series and it was also nice that they went back to PCA at the end!

Overall a nice but corny trip down memory lane. If you were a fan of Zoey 101 growing up I'd definitely recommend watching even if it's just the one time!

Good, not great
jtmachine-0467124 October 2023
So, just binged watched four seasons of Zoey 101, then moved on to watching Zoey 102. It wasn't as bad as others say, but yet still kind of bad. It's nice to see the characters all grown up, and on different paths to life. While I wished the movie had a little more comedy, and was longer, I enjoyed it. Safe to say that I wish the film had a little more laughter to it, and everything was just a bit rushed or mixed up. Kind of wished we got to see more of Michael, or Chase and Zoey, or hell, even flashbacks from when everyone graduated from PCA. Overall, the movie was alright, but I wouldn't watch it again. So I'll give it a 6/10.

Alright Reunion Film That Could Have Been A Whole Lot Better
RECB310 March 2024
The crew could have worked a lot more when they were creating this reunion film. Everything about this reunion film was weak. The storyline really did not go anywhere. It was nice to see most of the cast return and see how much they have changed from the original series. It is a real shame that not all of them returned like Paul Butcher, Victoria Justice, and Austin Butler. The cast members that did appear did not exactly recapture the same energy and spirit as the original series. This reunion film reveals to viewers that everyone can come together to work together to make the world of today a better and safe place. This is an alright reunion film that could have been better.

Warning: Spoilers
It was nice to see the pca gang. I always been a Zoey 101 fan since I was a kid I'm 27 now. It was a good and cute movie hopefully we see more.jamie definitely did very good just like she did in the show Quinn is awesome. Reese is still pretty much the same but a little different. Chance is still running into things and still that guy that haves a heart. Stacy and Mark r so funny. Michael is pretty much the same and I love it. The new characters r pretty fun and funny. So I definitely loved this movie. I hope it gets a sequel or a TV series again. But I am happy that we finally got a reunion. 😊

I really gave it a shot
courtney_h-1183511 April 2024
Honestly, I wanted this movie to somewhat succeed, if for nothing else but my screwed up childhood. I always think that we don't have enough of the characters we grew up on making a comeback, nor the shows and movies they were in. When I first heard this was coming out, I guinely got excited because the idea of a show I loved as a kid getting a second chance after it was cut too soon felt fun and exciting. I wanted to see something from my preteen years adapted into something I could enjoy as an adult. What I imagine it was like for people who watched Degrassi for the many generations it carried its characters through. I remembered there was some sort of drama with the cast, but of course when this movie came out, Quiet on Set had not yet aired. So I did not know about the wrongful behavior towards Alexa Nikolas. So I was guinely excited for this movie; going into it with no prior knowledge of drama or behind the scenes past issues and behavior. That said, this movie gave us nothing. There was no actual interest in showing us what has gone on with the characters since they were at PCA, nor did they give us any interesting or exciting new information to have us invest back into these characters we loved growing up. They were just there.... literally, if you've never seen Zoey 101, these characters wouldn't matter, not even their names. I felt like it was a spit in the face to people who actually expected to go into this feeling warm about seeing a piece of our childhood rejuvenated. It was just fluff. I truly hope this does not stop Hollywood from bringing back an adult reunion of some of our childhood favorites, because if they could get this right, it could be amazing *Obviously not "this" one, but another show/movie. It could have been great, but not even the potential was here to be scene. Did not feel invested nor excited to watch something that could have brought so much fun. Someone please get out here and do this right!

Nice tribute to the fans but eh
bettysak30 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
When I first heard about this movie I was excited! I didn't remember much about the original series,as it had been YEARS since I had watched it, but I do remember it being one of my favorite shows as a kid. After hearing that a childhood favorite of mine was returning, I decided to rewatch the series again. Watching as an adult now, each episode that ended left me with the same feeling... This sure isn't as amazing as I thought it was when I was younger, but there is still something that keeps me invested. I couldn't quite figure out what that was. Maybe the concept? The storylines? The characters? Or maybe just the idea of nostalgia? Whatever it was, it was enough to get me hyped for the reboot. I think for me, knowing that there was some sort of potential in the original is what kept me looking forward to the drop of the new movie. I was thinking since years had passed maybe they had time to reflect on what worked and what didn't work back in the day, and use all of that knowledge to their advantage now that it is 2023 and things have evolved. The trailer was super underwhelming, and I was thinking to myself, if this the best you have to highlight from the entire film maybe it's not going to live up to what I had hoped for it...Still, I gave it a fair chance... and it left me with the same feeling I had after watching the original series again. The acting wasn't spectacular,(specifically Zoeys character who is the MAIN star in the movie),the jokes are hit or miss (and the ones that miss are either repetitive jokes we've seen before or cringe) there seems to be a lack of plot, outside of Zoey and Chases relationship, and overall the ending was super predictable. I know this isn't a theater film, but I still wish there had been a little more to this movie than what there was. I do appreciate all the little references to the original series, and I get the concept, but I just feel like we didn't really get to see these characters go through something together and come to a solution that teaches a lesson and builds their character. It was so focused on Zoey and Chase that it left me feeling disappointed. Don't get me wrong I know a lot of Zoey 101 fans love the whole relationship drama, and I tend to get invested in it myself, but we know at the end of the movie these two characters are going to end up together. I just really wish there had a been a bigger plot, something outside of their relationship and something less predictable. I always wanted these two together as a kid but for the sake of interest in the movie, and the element of surprise, I wish they hadn't have ended up together at the end just to make it feel a little more real. The subplot with Zoeys job was a bit uninteresting and didn't feel like a big enough problem to make into an entire movie out of. Plus I feel like Zoey really backstabbed Quinn during an important time of her life and was super selfish during the whole movie, and she didn't even face any major consequences from anything that she did to hurt anyone. And her agreeing to the promotion at the end was a bad move. She definitely should've stuck to quitting her job if they wanted to make a statement and get a message across. I feel like after everyone easily forgave Zoey for LYING to them the entire time and ruining her best friends wedding, and Zoey being so quick to forgive her boss for belittling her and treating her like garbage, the only message we get out of this is that it's okay to betray people close to you because everything will work out in the end and you'll still get your way! It's also hard for me not to compare this to iCarly, because they are both Nickelodeon shows that have made a comeback in recent years. Although probably not a fair comparison, because iCarly was a better quality show to begin with, the acting in iCarly is just SO much more believable than in Zoey102. I genuinely feel what the iCarly characters are feeling and it just brings so much more magic to what you're watching when the actors and actresses hit their marks. I can't fully feel for characters who obviously look like they are reading a script. The drama in iCarly is superior, and I know if they ever made a new iCarly movie that the plot would be HUGE and engaging, instead of just one dull main plot about a relationship or a job. The characters would go through something super challenging and the twists and turns wouldn't be predictable. The jokes are genuinely funny in iCarly where as they feel overused and worn out in Zoey102. Overall, there was enough to keep me watching for the entire movie, but knowing the potential it had and what could've been done with it, I'm left with the same feeling I had after revisiting the tv series of Zoey101. Wishing I could tweak it myself to make it way more worth watching. That being said, there is still just something...some hint of something that is there and because of that I will probably keep tuning in to any future Zoey 101 reboots just out of curiosity and in hopes that maybe one day they will actually take advantage of the shows potential and turn it into something as magical as I know it could've been. But so far it hasn't truly worked. 5/10 may even be a bit generous but I still want to believe they'll get it right one day!

Exactly what it should be

A fun, fast-paced romp. Hits every mark it needs to and does what it needs to do without being self indulgent.

Good laughs, easy ride. Fun to revisit the old characters. Performances are exactly right, genuinely feel like older versions of their past selves rather than parodies.

Film feels expensive in a good way, they went for it even though they could have easily phoned it in.

Good for fans of the show or those new to the series. If you're missing classic romcoms, this really hits the spot.

Overall, really impressed that they made some thing good despite the unlikely reboot scenario.

Fun!

Nostalgia Done Right

The movie was a great adult version of the show. The actors stepped back into their characters perfectly and I'd love to see more of this world. The acting was so good compared to how green the actors were when they were young.

The movie was a fun ride. I was never bored. Were their tropes and cliches? Sure! It's a rom-com about a cheesy kids show from Nickelodeon.

They new their audience. They perfectly wove in Easter eggs for those that watched the original show but elevated the story.

The characters were all likeable and the story was fun to follow. I hope there's more to come. These actors ans characters deserve more story. It left me wanting more in a good way.
