  Mark Reynolds : Oh, okay. That works for me.

  [June suddenly has a fit of weird coughs] 

  Mark Reynolds : You okay, June?

  June Colburn : Yeah. Yeah. It's just, uh, so hot. I can actually sue you, this coffee is so hot.

  [smiles] 

  Pepper : In addition to being an amazing DJ, Marissa also bakes.

  Mark Reynolds : Wow, she sounds like the whole package.

  [which sends June into yet another coughing fit, as Pepper goes off] 

  June Colburn : [tries to recover]  Oh, God! It's so hot! Why is it so hot? Burned the roof of my mouth.

  [waves hand in front of her lips] 

  June Colburn : I had a roof like a minute ago.

  Mark Reynolds : [eyes narrowed]  Is everything okay?

  June Colburn : Yeah. Oh, yeah. Everything is fine.

  Mark Reynolds : Do you mind if I go out with Marissa on Saturday night?

  June Colburn : Huh? Do I mind?

  Mark Reynolds : Because if you did mind, I guess then I would wonder why you mind. Since we're just friends

  June Colburn : [scoffs]  Yeah. That would be weird if I minded, but I don't, so we don't have to worry about that.

  Mark Reynolds : Great.

  [goes back to his duties] 

  June Colburn : [weirdly blurts out:]  I need your help!

  [Mark comes closer] 

  June Colburn : With research analysis from Harkin. You're so good with numbers, and I need help from you, and I need it... Saturday... at eight.

  Mark Reynolds : Really? The exact time you need my help is when I'm supposed to go out on a date?

  June Colburn : Yes.

  Mark Reynolds : [smiles]  You sure?

  June Colburn : Yeah. I am.

  Mark Reynolds : [smiles]  Okay. Then Saturday at eight it is.

  [assistant returns] 

  Mark Reynolds : Pepper, I'm gonna have to cancel the date with Marissa. Sorry.

  Pepper : Well, that's a bummer! But thankfully Marissa is extremely emotionally stable,

  [shakes her head] 

  Pepper : so she's not gonna get too upset about it. Just the right amount of sad.

  [chuckles, then breaks down:] 

  Pepper : God, she's perfect!
