So, Stabler was not worried about staying undercover when Murphy told them the location of their "drop zone" and he led a bunch of cops there? Some of the decisions on this show never seem to add up.
I also feel like you could see from a mile away what was going to happen if you have ever watched Law and Order or any TV show before and that Murphy was going to get out for reasons that don't make sense. There are no higher-ups that would let someone off free for murdering a cop because they are an informant of any kind. I don't have a background in law enforcement, but I have to believe this is the case.
