Great Storyline
bonniegruenwald26 November 2023
I agree with Melody McCune's review of the Hannah and Ben pairing. There's new positive energy, hopefulness. Also, both are passionate about quantum physic. They are optimistic and excited about all the possibilities for time travel. It's fun and adventurous. In contrast, the Allison/Ben love story was always very pessimistic and downbeat.

I hope to see more stories about the positive development of the quantum leap project. So far, the quantum team can only react to the leaping process rather than having any control of Ziggy. Let's show that the team is learning from all the leaps and starting to gain more control of this leaping process even if they are unable to bring Ben home just yet. Perhaps, the team can start directing the leaps to a certain time period like the late 50s so Ben can see Hannah again or the leaps are less frequent where Ben stays at one place for a longer period of time.

I also would like to see more interaction between Ian and Ben. They seem to be the brains behind this quantum leap science so it would make sense while Ian does the hologram with Ben, they also brainstorm with each other about the obstacles encountered with the quantum project. I find Ian to be a very interesting character and would like to see a more developed storyline for him.

Great episode - relationships and tension

Warning: Spoilers
I had a feeling that some craziness would go down. Last week's episode was a bit slower so I expected this week to pick up. Oh boy, did it. Have a lot of story lines going on and being tied together. Was wondering when we'd have someone see Ben and recognize him like in the original Quantum Leap when kids could see Sam. Your going to get me to like Tom after all. I thought at first he was going to be a plant of some kind but this episode made him likeable. The tension between him and Ben was well done. As was at the end when he showed vulnerability and Ben picked up on it. Can they be friends, probably not but they can coexist. The chemistry between Ben and Hannah also really well done. Ian getting more storylines helps as well. The fact they kept referring to Albert Einstein as Al was definitely on purpose. Although Nazi's are overdone this one works due to the time period. I like it when we get more of Ben being Ben while playing a character. Anxious to see where it goes from here. Maybe they're getting us to like Tom only to turn on us.

Outstanding Episode
RECB31 May 2024
This is the best episode of the series. The crew did a remarkable job in creating this splendid episode. One thing that I very much like about this series is the science of it but it goes really deep in this episode. To have this episode focused on one of the greatest minds of all time terrific and to have Ben team up with a familiar friend was great. Ben and Hannah have more chemistry and more in common than Addison and Ben. I think it was a great idea for the crew to have Ben tell Hannah the truth about everything. Both Ben and Hannah work great together. This is an outstanding episode for all viewers of this series to watch.

Ben, Addison and Tom Too
safenoe22 April 2024
Warning: Spoilers
It's a shame that just a few weeks ago Quantum Leap was cancelled, and I can't believe it that NBC didn't give this fine series a third season. Still, Secret History is a decent episode, where you have Ben going back to the 1950s to Princeton University, and also we have the love triangle of Ben, Addison and Tom Too, and that creates much tension and possibly ruptures the quantum physics as we know it. Anyway, Eliza Taylor, who plays Hannah Carson, has a passing resemblance to Reese Witherspoon in a way. Anyway, when Ben and Hannah kissed at the end, it got quite emotional when he leapt to his next destination.
