THE WARP is your usual Z-grade haunted building horror in which a paranormal film crew turn up to shoot a documentary only to find themselves disturbed by evil spirits. This time around the setting is some old industrial factory that the crew found to shoot in. It plays out as predictable as you'd imagine, with way too much yik yak and not enough horror; the early interview scenes in particular reek of padding. There are one or two gore scenes but not enough atmosphere or real story to make it work.

Things occurred in this movie. People are recognizable occasionally.
It was definitely about the paranormal. The positive stars were for the audacity of whatever producer read the screenplay and thought to themselves "why not?" That kind of audacity deserves some accolades.
And remember; "it was construction."

A confused, rambling mess

I think this may have been an anti war film, or anti big business. All that really came through was the distinct lack of a storyline. It is poorly acted, poorly edited and poorly thought out. The under developed characters amble from one scene to another with little to no explanation as to why they're doing the things they're doing. The deaths are rambling and meaningless and despite the fact that at under seventy minutes this is a short film it feels like hours of incoherent student films smashed together with a little blood and called horror. I will say that the poster looked good, but that's the only decent thing i have to say about this bad, bad movie.
Run, don't walk.
