Stock footage is used to depict the Doolittle raid on the Japanese mainland, but shows a formation of A-20 Havoc light bombers. Doolittle used B-25 Mitchell medium bombers, and they had no fuel to waste circling around to make a formation, but went in as individual aircraft and fanned out over several targets throughout Japan.
On Nov 26, 1941, in the White House's Oval Office, when a General was giving an update about the movement of the Japanese fleet to FDR, the General mentioned that the fleet was targeting either Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore.
