Now I will start of by saying that I am a hugh fan of Dua Lipa, since the start of her career. Which started in the year of 2015. So I am always looking forward and highly anticipating her newer songs, and it's safe to say it didn't disappoint. I new she would go onto do big things in the wonderful world of music, she has solidified herself as one of the best. And dare I say it, they best right now. She is absolutely killing it.
The lyrics are strong, her vocal performance is always great, and she definitely delivers it here. Dance, dance the night away, is a very good lead up to the title of the song. The lyrics go as followed. Baby, you can find me under the light. That's how the song starts. And the lyrics are great here, I like the fact she's saying 'under the light' it's clever. And it's clever because I would recommend this song at discos, and the light of the disco ball can light the room up. As it's normally pitch black, so that's why I enjoy that little section of the song. And think it's a perfect introduction to it as she is in a room with a disco ball. Which sort of adds to the song, because you get to see her actually perform those lines in an actual disco room, which is clever and cool. Whilst having catchy lyrics.
I would say this song deserves all the recognition it's gotten over the past few months, with captivating vocal performance and great lyrics, with a phenomenal tune that I emidiately adored. I would also say, and point out that this song should also be in the top 10, so should her very new song Houdini, which if you haven't listened to yet, I would definitely recommend it.

I wouldn't go quite that far, but it's definitely close in contention. The context of the song works well in itself because of the Barbie Movie. And it does make you want to dance. And it is the perfect love song for Barbie and Ken. It definitely will be the most influential song of this year though because of just how popular the Barbie movie is, and how Popular Dua is as an artist. All culminating in great success. Overall, I would recommend this song at parties, discos and even if you want to get up and dance, this song is definitely the right one for you. Now time for my verdict.
