- Over one hundred years ago in Southern Italy, a talented young cobbler, SALVATORE, works in cruel Mastro Tomaia's shop. DON NERO enters the shop and commissions a pair of boots. Moments later, a young rose vendor, BIANCAROSA, walks in barefoot. Moved by the sight of BIANCAROSA, Salvatore neglects Don Nero and makes a pair of white shoes for the girl. As the night proceeds, Salvatore works on the shoes for BIANCAROSA while being swept from the dark shop to a world of magic and enchantment.—Shoemaker
- Inspired by Salvatore Ferragamo's early life and the aesthetics and symbolism of German Expressionism, led to the creation of White Shoe, a 22 minute animated short film where a true story meets elements of magical fairy tale. The film investigates the concept of a prison of the mind where the imagination is confined and subsequent the creative release where the young Salvatore starts making his ideas a reality.—Ferragamo Museum Guest
