- A bad guy forces a muzzle over a dog's mouth, and forcibly gives the dog to another bad guy.
- A man takes a dog out from his cage to beat him up with a club. The actual beating is never shown, not even heard.
- A boy and his father fall down from a mountain cliff. We soon learn that the father has passed away after having been badly hurt.
- There are several scenes of some humans and dogs attacking each other, but each scenes only last for a few seconds before they are immediately over, and nobody gets hurt.
- A bad guy causes an avalanche. A man and a boy are caught in the avalanche, but they are both okay.

- There are some scenes which could be little bit upsetting, such as the abduction of Buck the dog, and the scene with a young boy having lost his father. But the whole animation is otherwise pretty harmless and is suitable for everyone.
