- A dramatic tree-top rescue begins the journey for one scaredy-cat to a new forever home, while an all-too-bouncy Cavoodle is making hard work for RSPCA's adoption team. Both the RSPCA and QVS Pet Emergency vets contend with a procession of pets with threatening toxic reactions.
- After eight days of failed attempts, the RSPCA are finally called in to rescue a cat stuck atop a towering gum tree. In a challenging and dramatic rescue, the terrified feline finally makes it into the safe arms of the RSPCA. And after such an ordeal it will take some special RSPCA TLC to recover both physically and emotionally from such an ordeal. But it's not long before the team's hard work pays off and they start to see the softer and sweeter side of this cat who earns his nickname 'Fudge'.
Meanwhile the vets at both QVS and the RSPCA are kept busy with dogs and cats at risk of toxic reactions. First up it's Duke the Bengal cat whose owner is fearing a poisonous encounter with a Cane Toad, while Labradoodle Delilah has her mum and dad worried about her downing six ibuprofen capsules. Finally, rescue dog Keiko is rushed to the RSPCA by his foster carers after wolfing down an entire packet of raisins. The Vets treating Keiko are now in a race against time to prevent the tartaric acid in the raisins from spreading through his vital organs.
The arrival of a designer-breed Cavoodle puppy, Mace, to the RSPCA for rehoming has caught the eye of many would-be adopters. But the Adoption team soon find out that this very bouncy little guy isn't going to be quite so easy to find the right home for. And after two unsuccessful matches, Mace finds himself enroute to RSPCA's picturesque Noosa Animal Care Centre on the Sunshine Coast for his 3rd round at match-making. Here he meets potential adopters Gena and Robert, but will he be too much of an energetic handful for this couple?
