Dexter has been a disappointment from the beginning, but he's now fully lost his footing as a husband. Whatever his name might suggest, he is not RIGHT and fails to serve at Anna's RIGHT HAND as a supportive husband of a (no longer) pregnant wife Unfortunately, there is nothing to like about him, nor can anything desirable be said about those he associates with; Sonia and Talia to name a few. This would be fine if it added villainous depth to a character, but in Dexter Alcott's case... it is just annoying. The season has reached a point where we know that EVERYONE is implicated in the nefarious plot, whether they are procuring it or attempting to remove the target from it (Preacher, and possibly nurse Ivy). The aesthetics of the consistent color scheme and devilishly black clothing, as if having a ,The devil wears Prada' catwalk makes the tediousness of the plot a somewhat forgivable peccadillo with the purpose of establishing an eerie ambiance. The problem of incoherence remains, and severely detracts from plot aesthetics. Audiovisuals and imagery are still top-notch. However, as the plot keeps drawing on cliched horror tropes, it cannot be helped that the audience is annoyed. However, the design of the black goat ladies, undoubtedly in league with diabolical forces, is the peek of the episode. Unfortunately, whenever the audience was struck with reality again, it proved to be underwhelming. Lastly, I was quite disappointed with Kim's acting this episode around. There was some cleverness in her oration, but then there were some phrases where that cringeworthy tone came out again.
Therefore, my rating for this episode got stuck at 63/100.
