Sadly an end to a great series
nicholls_les13 November 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Only reason I gave this a 9 is because it ended one of the best TV series of all time in my opinion. Magie Q was outstanding as Nikita, for me she was the perfect actress for this role, as good if not better than Keifer Sutherlands Jack Bower in 24.

Amanda having a lookalike was a bit far fetched and I could not see why she would hae one. The way lookalikes were popping up I half expected a return or Percy. Some of the plot got a bit silly and I kept thinking, no just kill Amanda and finish this, but the twist at the very end was superb and I didn't see it coming.

I would say that it is unusual for a show to have so many great characters, maybe apart from Heroes.

Shaun West as Michael was perfectly cast and Aaron Stanfords, Seymore (or is it Lionel?) Birkhoff became one of my favourite characters probably worthy of a spin off show? Alex played brilliantly by Lyndsy Fonseca was a perfect mix of beautiful, vulnerable and disturbed and Melinda Clarke as Amanda was suitably evil. I agree with the other poster that it was a shame Sonya played by Lindie Greenwood wasn't involved much at all as she was a great character who could hae been used more. Noah Bean as Ryan Fletcher came across as a brilliant actor and his death was a sad shock.

So it is a sad day that Nikita has ended but the ending did leave a possibility of this fantastic show being revived sometime in the future. I for one hope so.

Great Finale!!
Su295 January 2014
I have been a huge fan of this show ever since Season 1. Didn't miss a single episode. The more I watched this show the more I have like Maggie Q as 'Nikita'-- absolutely superb performance. I have also liked the other characters a lot-- everyone has acted exceptionally well. And now finally the show has come to an end. The finale was great. It had its twists and turns and the end was something I was not expecting. But the entire episode proves it once again that Nikita is indeed a 'Hero', who helps people, saves lives and is not brutal in any way. The finale gives a happy ending to all the main protagonists but I was feeling sad that Ryan wasn't there. Nikita was born to be a fighter and she does that with grace.

A Killer Finale.

Warning: Spoilers
Great visuals.

Heart-pumping Action.

A killer finale.

'Canceled' was 'da bomb'(pardon me for lack of a better word). Everyone manages to get their happy ending. Except Amanda, the baddie, of course.

MICHAEL & NIKITA get hitched, BIRKHOFF relocates to London to live with Sonya after a beautiful altruistic act, Alex continues in her stead as a diplomat(alongside Sam/Owen) and everyone's finally FREE.

It's unfortunate this is Nikita's final episode but KUDOS to the writing team and the cast for providing closure to fans and viewers alike.

I give it an 8/10 as it gave closure but still felt a little too open ended to me.

Acceptable Ending

Warning: Spoilers
So Nikita's story ended (at least for us not for her!) with a great plot. They really finished the show with an acceptable and of course unpredictable story line in some aspect.

The show begins with a conversation between Amanda and Nikita in the past, which took place at Division, and ends with all the remaining character, i.e. Nikita, Michael, Alex, Own/Sam and Birkhoff become free, But the events between these two was perfect.

BTW, I wish Sonya were involved in the show, while all the main character including Ryan were involved.

Final is memorable to me, especially how they deceive Amanda.

My vote is 9/10.

A fitting finale
LoveIsAStateOfMind27 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I am a massive Nikita fan but I have to say that I never really got into the final season.

I don't know whether it was because they tried to cram too much into too short a time, the fear that everyone was a double or the fact that Nikita/Alex were apart for five out of six episodes but it didn't feel like the awesome show I'd known from previous seasons.

I also don't feel Michael/Nikita ever properly dealt with the fact that she left him at the end of last season.

However, I do think the finale was fitting. I am going to be honest, I did really think that Nikita had gone off the rails for a bit until I put two and two together. I think the final scene with Nikita/Amanda was especially clever.

I like how flashbacks to Nikita's first day at Division were used and I am glad that they all (apart from Ryan) got their Happy Ever After (although how comes Sonya was basically absent from the finale?!).

Overall though this season was lacking the Nikita magic that I had come to love. However, the first season will always hold its place in my heart as one of the best seasons of television drama ever.
