This is by far the worst thing that Bad Education have put out. Incredibly predictable and lacked the charm and comedy the rest of the series has had. Although it featured all my favourite characters, the writing and features they were given, especially Jack Whitehall as Mr Wickers, were awful and did not work. It's supposed to be a comedy show but this felt like a forced, Christmas themed feature that can boost the reputation of the show for perhaps a future season. I really expected more from something like this, but it was unfortunately not enough to be considered as a strong Christmas episode for such a comedic, high grandeur show.

every show jumps a shark if on too long

This is by far the worse of all Bad education shows. It seems more like a show case for the formerly minor character, played by Layton Williams.
Layton is not strong enough as either an actor or comedian to hold a show together, and adding various music numbers doesn't help either.
One to avoid, and clearly time to retire this show.
The basic plot is the usual Christmas Carol guff, but it's been done better by hundreds of others.
Layton threatens to leave the schools, and is visited by various characters from when the show was watchable, who turn up as the various ghosts.
Lame, predicable and totally locaking in laughs.

As a huge fan of the first 2 seasons I was hoping they could repair some of the damage they done on the season 3&4. Sadly they seemed to have reached lower depths than I thought possible.
Please stop butchering this show and come up with something new. On a plus it only lasted 30 minutes. Which coincidentally seems to be the exact same amount of time spent on writing the script, doing the choreography and of course setting up the stunning special effects and top class makeup. Hopefully the show can be put to rest now like it should have been after season 2.
Please don't make another season guys.
